Remarks

The infrastructure and academic facilities are one of the strongest features of the college. Being a women's college, there is no possibility of gender biases. The college believes in cherishing their moral value and ethics.

Course Curriculum Overview

The structure of the each semester is clearly specified and three major subjects are needed by the student to take up. I took up chemistry, physics and computer science. Each of them were heavy duty subjects yet, I managed them well and eventually, enjoy studying them.

Placement Experience

2.5

There is no placement cell in the college therefore, I find it difficult to grab on any internship or think about what to do after graduation. The help is limited and therefore, I have to search on my own as to see what can I do and can't.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total amount of the program per year turns out to be Rs.72,600/- which seen in isolation may seem to be very expensive amount yet it is not, as bachelor of science is in itself is an expensive course to take up in many universities. The distribution of the structure is Rs.25000/- in first while Rs.23500/- in second year.

Campus Life

There are surplus extra curricular courses offered to the students. One of them that I would highly recommend would be the college band/choir as it allows you to polish on your performing skills. Other than that, the college makes attempt to compete with other colleges and win competitions.

Admission

I had plans to apply for the course, BSc which meant that I should have studied Physics, chemistry and Mathematics in the Pre university which I did to take up any physical science programme and chemistry, botany and zoology or biology to take up any biological science programme. The documents varied according to the exam and state in which it was given. Accordingly the documents were required to be organized. As I was already from Karnataka and had passed CBSE Exam, I was not required to showcase any additional document. I had to show my migration, marksheet, conduct and transfer certificate. The process took place online.

Faculty

4

The professors teach well therefore, understanding was never a problem for me. Although, they are very strict and particular about the submissions of assignments and code of conduct. There is rules laid down for the dress code to be followed in the University premises.

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.
