COURSE AND EXAM STRUCTURE WAS GOOD. WE HAD TO GIVE TWO SESSIONAL EXAMS OUT OF THREE. SOME OF THE TEACHERS LIKE LM SAINI WERE GREAT BUT SOME OF THEM WERE GOOD. PRACTICAL CLASS WAS GOOD. WE HAVE TO GIVE OUR MAJOR EXAM IN THE LAST SEMESTER. WE HAD TO DO INDUSTRIAL TRAINING ALSO AFTER 2ND SEMESTER.

A NUMBER OF TECHNICAL EVENTS AND CULTURAL EVENTS WERE ORGANISED BY COLLEGE AND MANAGEMENT AND SENIORS ALSO. CONFLUENCE AND LITERATI WERE THE FAMOUS CULTURAL AND TECHNICAL EVENTS.ROBOTICS CLUB ALSO ORGANISED A NUMBER OF EVENTS. A NUMBER OF CELEBRITIES WERE INVITED IN OUR GREAT CONFLUENCE EVENT LIKE HONEY SINGH, RAFTAAR ETC.

AT MY TIME I HAD TO PROVIDE THEM FEES BY DD ONLY FOR THE FIRST TIME. AFTER THAT I DEPOSITED MY FEES BY CASH ALSO IN SBI BRANCH AVAILABLE THERE. NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES WERE THERE.VERY TRANSPARENT SYSTEM FOR FEES STRUCTURE. ONLY 25000/ PER SEMESTER WAS THE FEES FOR ME.

SCHOLARSHIP WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR US.I APPLIED FOR EDUCATION LOAN IN THE SBI BANK IN HISAR DISTRICT.

Campus Life

GENDER RATIO WAS LESS DURING MY TIME IN COLLEGE. BUT CAMPUS LIFE IS AMAZING. EVERYTHING IS NEARBY AND THEIR IS GREAT BONDS IN STUDENTS. SPORTS GROUND WAS AMAZING. OUT NIT KURUKSHETRA BASKETBALL TEAM WAS VERY FAMOUS. A NUMBER OF TECHNICAL EVENTS USED TO BE ORGANISED BY COLLEGE AND MANAGEMENT AND SENIORS ALSO. CONFLUENCE AND LITERATI WERE THE FAMOUS CULTURAL AND TECHNICAL EVENTS.

Hostel Facilities

HOSTEL FACILITY THE BEST PART OF NIT KURUKSHETRA. IN 1ST YEAR I HAD 2 ROOMMATES. AFTER THAT SINGLE ROOM WAS ALLOTTED TO ME ONLY. THERE IS NO NEED OF PG IN MY COLLEGE. HOSTEL FACILITY IS AMAZING IN MY COLLEGE.

SENIORS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND THEY ORGANISE A NUMBER OF EVENTS IN THE CAMPUS FOR THE BONDING WITH JUNIORS AND EXPOSURE.EVERYBODY IS HELPFUL IN NIT KURUKSHETRA. ALL ALUMNI MEET AT REGULAR INTERVAL OF TIME.

GAVE AIEEE-2009 EXAM FOR NIT KURUKSHETRA THEN THIS COLLEGE WAS ALLOTTED IN 4TH COUNSELLING. I CHOSE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING BRANCH BECAUSE LIKED THIS BRANCH AND I WANTED TO HAVE GOVT JOB. NIT KURUKSHETRA WAS VERY NEAR TO MY HOMETOWN HISAR AND ITS RANK AMONG NITs WAS GOOD.

FACULTY FOR ELECTRICAL BRANCH WAS GOOD. SOME OF THEM WERE FROM IIT COLLEGE PASSED OUT. ONE OF THE FAMOUS TEACHER WAS LM SAINI. HE WAS JUST AMAZING. HE ALWAYS FOCUSSED ON THE KNOWLEDGE NOT ON THE INFORMATION ONLY. MANY OF THEM HAVE RELEVANT INDUSTRY EXPERIENCES.

Practical exposure and good learning opportunities.

Likes

Professors in my department are very knowledgeable and helpful.
College provide you the best experience in events and fest. You can participate to enhance your skills.
College have wide variety of clubs and societies to participate and groom yourself.

Dislikes

Fine culture is very bad. Many bouncers roam around to cut your fine for not wearing I'd card,etc.
Hostel food is ok ok. Although keeps on complaining they respond very slowly and not students oriented.
Hostel is not worthy, they didn't respond to students grievance properly, that's why I left hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in B.Pharm are reasonable good but along side we students must focus on developing our own real world skills, the faculty help us to grow with industry ready skills. Good placement options are available in QA,QC, RnD, Pharmacovigilence department. According to me placement cell of KRMU is supportive but they unable to attract good placement packages. Avg package in B.Pharm is around 4-4.5L /year

My Overall Experience at college has been very positive.

Placement Experience:

I feel pretty secure about my career because our training opens door that normal degrees just can't match. Our seniors land roles as risk analysts and foreign policy researchers, even secruing great spots at top think tanks right after graduation. Some even interned at Niiti Consulting, and others got into ShowTime Consulting and Stimuler. Seeing people land roles at Lead Tech and the BCG Graduate Apprenticeship Program gives me massive confidence for placements.

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

Infrastructure of our college is too good,having proper ventilation system ,well equipped AC ,a hygienic environment having a lush green campus.it has proper wifi facilties in the campus. I would personaly rate it 4.5/5.
Here we get exposure to various growth opportunities like sports,studies and research.Even our college is open for students who plan to start their startup. our college provides specific amount help for students aspiring to run their own startup.
while talking about social interaction, our college has a good crowd and people are friendly so its easy to connect with them,all the faculties are expert in their domain having a good background and knowledge in their feild

Dislikes

CCTV's are not present in class which should be there for security purpose. only in the campus and corridors CCTV are present.It's kind of hard for students to get their medical certificate approved , they need a lot of formalities.
Mess food is not upto the mark, it should have been better thats why students have to go to canteen and food stalls to eat food and in campus girls to boys ratio is too less .less number of girls as compared to boys.
The library space is also very short ,it get's crowder and filled up during exam times so students have to go to other libraries present in the campus and it gets hard for student to study in summer's outside the library.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

JGU is delightful place!!

JGU Campus can match any international campus as it is that kind of a campus.
We have a sports stadium inside the university and nearly 20 sports facilities are included within.
Campus offers a splendid night life as well as students here can be seen roaming at the campus till 2 am as it is new normal here.

Dislikes

Most students here are not so serious about studies here as they are rich brats.
Intenrships we still have to find on our own as college doesn't provide from their end.

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

I was influenced by the pattern of syllabus done in this college and the seriousness of the faculty members. The curriculum prepares me a lot for competiting in the real world. Improvement is needed in the labs. The difficulty level of exams is mediocre and exams are taken twice an year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Say anything about this college but i will not suggest to take BCA in this college. In other hand all teachers are giving their 100 to taught students better in College. I think they have to use digital service to teach im doing BCA and they still teaching like am taught by a school classrom by a school teacher.

I chose this course because i have a keen interest in animals. I love to treat them. If you have interest in gaining knowledge about animals and you like to treat them, then this course is great. Apart from studies CCA activities also occurs here every Saturday. There is a gap of around 2 months between all the three internals then after 1 month gap external exams occurs

I chose this college due to its ranking and the overall atmosphere of the college and also the reviews or various alumni who are in good positions today. I did apply to other NITs like NIT Bhopal, NiT Surat, NIT Allahabad and others but didn't get confirmation of admission due to rank factor and spot rounds. Due to this I didn't secure admission in other colleges. The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly.
