NIT KURUKSHETRA IS THE AMAZING COLLEGE. PLACEMENTS ARE GOOD. EVERYTHING IS NEARBY THE CAMPUS.

Course Curriculum Overview

COURSE AND EXAM STRUCTURE WAS GOOD. WE HAD TO GIVE TWO SESSIONAL EXAMS OUT OF THREE. SOME OF THE TEACHERS LIKE LM SAINI WERE GREAT BUT SOME OF THEM WERE GOOD. PRACTICAL CLASS WAS GOOD. WE HAVE TO GIVE OUR MAJOR EXAM IN THE LAST SEMESTER. WE HAD TO DO INDUSTRIAL TRAINING ALSO AFTER 2ND SEMESTER.

MANY OF THE GREAT COMPANIES VISTED FOR OUR CAMPUS PLACEMENTS. SOME OF THEM WERE PSUs LIKE WAPCOS, BPCL, COAL INDIA, BRAHMOS AND IOCL.SOME OF THE PRIVATE COMPANIES LIKE JSW STEEL LIMITED, TATA MOTORS, HERO HONDA, MARUTI, TATA POWER VISITED OUR CAMPUS.

College Events

A NUMBER OF TECHNICAL EVENTS AND CULTURAL EVENTS WERE ORGANISED BY COLLEGE AND MANAGEMENT AND SENIORS ALSO. CONFLUENCE AND LITERATI WERE THE FAMOUS CULTURAL AND TECHNICAL EVENTS.ROBOTICS CLUB ALSO ORGANISED A NUMBER OF EVENTS. A NUMBER OF CELEBRITIES WERE INVITED IN OUR GREAT CONFLUENCE EVENT LIKE HONEY SINGH, RAFTAAR ETC.

Fee Structure And Facilities

AT MY TIME I HAD TO PROVIDE THEM FEES BY DD ONLY FOR THE FIRST TIME. AFTER THAT I DEPOSITED MY FEES BY CASH ALSO IN SBI BRANCH AVAILABLE THERE. NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES WERE THERE.VERY TRANSPARENT SYSTEM FOR FEES STRUCTURE. ONLY 25000/ PER SEMESTER WAS THE FEES FOR ME.

Fees and Financial Aid

SCHOLARSHIP WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR US.I APPLIED FOR EDUCATION LOAN IN THE SBI BANK IN HISAR DISTRICT.

Campus Life

GENDER RATIO WAS LESS DURING MY TIME IN COLLEGE. BUT CAMPUS LIFE IS AMAZING. EVERYTHING IS NEARBY AND THEIR IS GREAT BONDS IN STUDENTS. SPORTS GROUND WAS AMAZING. OUT NIT KURUKSHETRA BASKETBALL TEAM WAS VERY FAMOUS. A NUMBER OF TECHNICAL EVENTS USED TO BE ORGANISED BY COLLEGE AND MANAGEMENT AND SENIORS ALSO. CONFLUENCE AND LITERATI WERE THE FAMOUS CULTURAL AND TECHNICAL EVENTS.

Hostel Facilities

HOSTEL FACILITY THE BEST PART OF NIT KURUKSHETRA. IN 1ST YEAR I HAD 2 ROOMMATES. AFTER THAT SINGLE ROOM WAS ALLOTTED TO ME ONLY. THERE IS NO NEED OF PG IN MY COLLEGE. HOSTEL FACILITY IS AMAZING IN MY COLLEGE.

SENIORS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND THEY ORGANISE A NUMBER OF EVENTS IN THE CAMPUS FOR THE BONDING WITH JUNIORS AND EXPOSURE.EVERYBODY IS HELPFUL IN NIT KURUKSHETRA. ALL ALUMNI MEET AT REGULAR INTERVAL OF TIME.

Admission

GAVE AIEEE-2009 EXAM FOR NIT KURUKSHETRA THEN THIS COLLEGE WAS ALLOTTED IN 4TH COUNSELLING. I CHOSE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING BRANCH BECAUSE LIKED THIS BRANCH AND I WANTED TO HAVE GOVT JOB. NIT KURUKSHETRA WAS VERY NEAR TO MY HOMETOWN HISAR AND ITS RANK AMONG NITs WAS GOOD.

FACULTY FOR ELECTRICAL BRANCH WAS GOOD. SOME OF THEM WERE FROM IIT COLLEGE PASSED OUT. ONE OF THE FAMOUS TEACHER WAS LM SAINI. HE WAS JUST AMAZING. HE ALWAYS FOCUSSED ON THE KNOWLEDGE NOT ON THE INFORMATION ONLY. MANY OF THEM HAVE RELEVANT INDUSTRY EXPERIENCES.

My Overall Experience at JGU was very good

Placement Experience:

I get career counselling through the Office of Career Services as I gear uo for my placements at JSJC. The OCS links us to top news channels in the country, digital media companies, PR firms, ad agencies, and content production houses. The seniors have bagged job positions ranging from multimedia journalists, podcasters, digital strategists, sub editors, to corporate communicators. Through our constant intercation with the industry and practice of portfolios and mock interviews, we are fully ready for the professional arena.

Tremendous campus life.

Placement Experience:

We get campus placements in the 3rd year. We haven't really visited any companies till now... Highest higheat package is 12Lac per annum and average package is 6Lac per annum. Percentage of students getting placements is 80% After getting the degree I'd probably leave this country.

A great college experience with Good academics and opportunities.

Likes

The amity povide very diverse range of courses, which provide vast opportunities for students to pursue their desire course and learn.
Amity also provide space for extra co curriculum activities like different club buildings, sports games, team buildings.
The environment of amity is very beautiful and peaceful,amity placed a lots for foucs on Greenery,they techs us about gardening and plantation.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my amity college depands on the course you are persuing, skills required for the job, education qualification for job, Placement comes from majority of fortune companies also, placements offers also comes from banks like HDFC ,SBI , and some other roles are also offered like research assistant, political content writing and some position requires further qualification or experience.

An honest but comprehensive review

Likes

Lab are clean and well maintained,we have availability of almost all chemicals within the laboratory,then we also have the available of all the essential equipment that are required to carryout the experiment,our teachers are incredibly supportive.
The faculty are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in there subjects,they help us to clarify all the doubts if we have any ,apart from that we are provided notes from our faculties for every module,the teachers are also there to help us out .

Dislikes

The washroom are mostly dirty and they are not pretty clean
Placements are not very good they are below average

The curriculum is really comprehensive and helps us to understand the subjects pretty nicely, I choose this course due to the faculty experience and there educational background ,the curriculum doesn't really prepare us that well for real world application,the exams are conducted on regular basis,class tests are also conducted

Intership oppurtunities review

Likes

Modern campus infrastructure with fully air-conditioned classrooms and fast Wi-Fi.
Variety of hygienic and delicious food options available across mess and canteens.
Vibrant annual fests with amazing celebrity performances and cultural events.

Dislikes

High competitive environment among students and occasional strict campus rules.
Strict minimum attendance criteria of 75% which leaves little margin for emergencies.
Campus is located away from the main city center, making daily commuting longer

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 5th semester. Top recruiters like HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and Bajaj Capital visit the campus, offering around 70 to 80 percent of students job offers. The highest package offered goes up to around 6.7 LPA, while the average package is around 3.5 to 4.5 LPA for roles like Financial Analyst and Banking Associate. My personal plan after finishing my degree is to gain a few years of corporate work experience in the finance sector.

Reality of campus

Likes

I like the idea of industrial visits real scenario
I like the idea of incubation where the provid facility for the startup
Faculties are very supportive and they know how to engage students

Dislikes

Although they have incubation facility but they didn't have provides funds for the and didn't provide OD to
I don't like the idea of 75% attendance.
They should change the food or canteen services because they didn't provide a good quality food

All though I mean what I didn't know how to clarify it but I will rate it 3 because I think everyday University is really for popular in corporate world so I think they going to give inside full things in courses

A journey worth experiencing

Likes

Faculty- The faculty of Amity School of Communication is very very good and supportive. They provide support and guidance not just related to academics only, but even otherwise.
Course Curriculum- MJMC is a course that offers exposure to multiple areas, and the university curriculum ensures that students are gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure
Infrastructure- The infrastructure of the university is good, and the mass communication studio is well equipped and accessible to students

Dislikes

Timings- The university timings are from 9:30-4:45, which is quite a long day
Location- The university's location is slightly problematic as the surrounding area is not that safe
Crowd- Being a private university, the crowd at Amity is sometimes toxic

Placement Experience:

The corporate resource center (CRC) at Amity provides great assistance for internships and placements, however, it depends on an individuals skill set and abilities what sort of job/role/company they are placed in. The average package offered to a pass out of MJMC is 4.5 LPA.

The College Life

Likes

The infrastructure and facilities here is really good and
Faculty here is really supportive and approachable and most of the faculties are phd scholars who comes with great experience
Clubs here are really amazing, you can join any club according to your interest .

Dislikes

The thing which I don't like is the roads of this college which creates problem for coming and going .

Placement Experience:

This is as per the things which I have heard from other people as currently I'm in 3 semester. Around 5th semester the placements gets started . Name of the companies who comes for placement are Delloite , GIVA etc . And I have to go for higher education after degree

Good Campus

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable teachers who guide students well.
Well-equipped studios, labs, library, and modern campus facilities.
Active fests, events, clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

The overall course and hostel fees are relatively very expensive.
More internships, site visits, and practical industry interaction would be helpful.
Architecture involves long studio hours and frequent submissions. And too much pressure from the teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum around 4/5, as it covers design, theory, technical subjects, building construction, software, practical work, site visits, and presentations, giving students a good overall understanding of architecture.

This college is in tier 1 nits and also it has given many great alumni which are one of the main reasons to go for this college . The college applied by me were NIT jaipur and NIT Rourkela but as it was near to my home so I went for this only .In order to get admission in this college one has to sit in jossaa counselling and after seat allocation physical reporting is done and then you can join the hostel and work to build a better tomorrow...Read More

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly. Insights of Computer Dept of NIT KKR

admission is done through JEE Mains exam and counselling done through JOSAA counselling .NITs have 50 % state Quota . Counseling is conducted in 6 rounds and then 2 special rounds. JEE main is 3 hour exam of 300 marks with +4 for every correct - 1 for negative answers...Read More
