Remarks

I didn't get any other college. My mark was so low that is around 870. I cant make it through anna university counseling. So no other go I had to choose this college. Alpha college of engineering offered me BE in computer science where as no one did

Course Curriculum Overview

Not updated. Old technology based. The tech field for instance computer science is based on updation innovation. but the irony is we still had to study about 80xx processors and other old school stuffs.

Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

The college management was the worst part in this entire college experience, none of the students liked the management and there were always disagreement, I would say the management was fascist.
