Remarks

International reputation, Placements, Culture. The placements have also been top notch since some time now with average package of cs nearly around 28 lakhs now. The campus is beautiful and well maintained. Besides academics, Bits Goa also offers plenty of room for extra curricular development and has always been a very interactive and friendly college. The senior junior relationship is probably the best in the entire country with no ragging at all and seniors ready to help you at a moment's notice. There's plenty of diversity too as against some north Indian colleges which are filled with a majority of north Indians.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is fine. Could have been better but considering that there's dual degree students too, the course looks pretty well structured. Academics is the same as it is In every college, if you wanna study. You can do pretty well. If you dont, them you'll get plenty of people like that too. But by the end of 4 years it prepares for industry level work sufficiently well also offering 2 compulsory internships during those 4 years. But the college lacks in exceptional faculties.

Placement Experience

5

Almost every mnc visits the campus and the placements are very well handled by the placements unit. Top tech companies like fv, Google, Microsoft take a large no of students. The alumni network of bits is very wide spread, both nationally and internationally.

College Events

5

The campus events are some of the best in the country. All three fests are very well managed and held by the students with big celebrities making an appearances almost every year. Sufficient room is given for extracurricular activity in the college. No matter where your interest lies, you'll always find a club that exists which will cater to your interest. Also worth mentioning that club work is taken very seriously, sometime maybe a little too much but overall, it offers an excellent environment for all round development.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is great and looks like a resort whenever you step out of the room. The wi fi is good enough. Library is not as good as the one in the pilani campus or In certain iits. Sports facilities are pretty good and well maintained.

Hostel Facilities

The newly built hostel are amazing with washrooms like the ones at the airports. We rarely experience electricity problems. The hostel fee is more than other college though. But I would say it's worth it.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell here is honestly one of the best parts of the experience—they’re super proactive, always keeping us on our toes with mock interviews and workshops that actually feel useful. We get into the placement groove in our final year, and it’s pretty cool to see the results. We’ve seen packages hit as high as ₹7.5 LPA, with an average around ₹3.8 LPA, which is a solid start in this industry. It’s great to see a variety of companies coming in, from tech-focused ones like RightScope, Transerve Technology, Letsapp, MinksPay, and Webnook to major recruiters like Bajaj Allianz, IDBI Bank, and Bharti AXA Life Insurance. A good number of my batchmates have already landed roles through these drives. As for me, I’m planning to take all the practical, hands-on skills I’ve picked up from my internships and extra tech courses and dive straight into the IT sector. Between that and the doors opened by the college’s MoU with the Goa Technology Association (GTA), I feel like I’ve got a real head start in the professional world.

Placements are good like averages of chemical is 12 lpa and there is good placement percentage ratio like 75 percent and if in case of no placements further study is possible option as bits have connection to many best institues in the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good and faculties are also very qualified. I choose BDA because of its value in the market and my interest area. BDA of GIM is even beating it's flagship course in terms of placements. But the thing is you have to come prepared before coming to B-School. In term-1, there will be basic subjects only but companies coming for summer internship will expect more from you. So, my advice would be to invest the time students get in between admission in B-School and joining the B-School in improving their skills sets.
