My college is best for AUTOMOBILE DEPARTMENT and aeronautical engineering in tamilnadu

Course Curriculum Overview

There are many courses having many sections with same exam pattern. Pattern like there will be 3 mid-exams with 1 end semester exam. Talking about my experience in this exams is very good. By giving adequate amount of time to learn and explore in the subject or course will boost your confidence.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Placement Experience

My college gives 85% placement to different sectors of courses taken by students. my college taken to internships for every semester to explore more on my course. There are many companies like: Ashok Leyland, hcl, mahindra, wipro, Infosys, hero etc.

College Events

We celebrate many events like fest, onam, pongal, Vinayaka chaturthi, autopsy, cultural events,vahana etc. And many more events with maximum crowd of 10,000 students. It was a feat to see this much crowd in my college and outsiders also allowed to this.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We have to pay full fees in the beginning of the semester. Payment method are common for every like we can pay through NetBanking, college bank, check book. There are no additional fees if we write entrance exam and qualify. We need to pay some additional amount to get a seat in college without any entrance exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is based on 12th standard percentage or GPA. If we have above 90% then we get 75% scholarship. Similarly 50% scholarship for 85-90%

Campus Life

Gender ratio is 2:1 with male are dominated. There are approximately 7-10 labs for every department. My college prodive NCC course to students. Yearly there will be many competitive in sports and fashion design and quiz and debate etc. Students in my college how participate on sports have went to higher levels in there career.

Hostel Facilities

No I have not opted for hostel since, I am with my guardian. I think hostel constructed as 2 hbk with 3 members In room and 2 attached bathroom. Hostel food is so good I have not seen any good as this. It has both south and north dishes.

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per yearExternal Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

I have no idea about alumni network and senior students. I was not concentrate about this. I think it may be helpful

Admission

I want to be an automobile engineer and my college is one of the best for AUTOMOBILE course in Chennai, tamil nadu. So I has wrote entrance exam on 11june2017 and qualified with 75% scholarship and it has been 3 years till now I have wonderful experience.

Faculty

My college faculty are excellent with there experience in courses and communication also. They help me growing. There are approximately 200-250 lecturers in my college with good experience and graduation. Lectures are very kind. We can free to call at any time without agitation.

In vlb Janakiammal college of arts and science kovaipudhur coimbatore ,i dont know much about the placements but there are so much placements for everyone the placement success rate is almost 98 persent

They allow all cultural events.They also conduct events in the college

Dislikes

They increase penalty if students dont pay the sem fees on time then they also increase the exam fees from sem to sem

My aim is to go cinema field.So,only I choose visual communication.After choosing visual communication only i can understood the real world is so different I can't get it anything easy I want to work hard to get the position I want to be.

Life in HIMT

Likes

With regards to training and placements the college is very good . All training as per DGMA and IMU is strictly followed and the placements for B.Sc is 90% and above . The faculties and instructors in the college are well experienced and skilled.
The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

Dislikes

College doesn't conduct inter college events . Internal events are very less . The few events conducted in college has also many restrictions.
Galley food can be better . College canteen is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

I like the MBA to learn about the marketing domain and gather the proper information. And I planned to do the course in the KVIM and they used the digital methods to the course and the give the proper content to succeed the course

My great experience in HIMT

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

I did my JEE mains preparation for 2 months and got 87.8 percentile but the cutoff for the year 2022 was 88 percentile for general category. I still had option to join various NITs for cse and other courses, but I have made my mind to study only aeronautical engineering. So I did some research and came to know about this college. I am saying this again. This college is the best for this course apart from IITs. But the faculties may not be what you expected. There are entrance exams but I personally think it's a scam. Vibrant Cmapus life at HITS: Academics, Oppurtunities and Social Engagement

I had applied to SRM, VIT, KCG and SNU. I chose this college as it has a relaxed campus culture compared to other colleges, they also have international exposure which helps us migrate to other foreign universities for a semester exchange program. I was selected in SRM and VIT-AP but was rejected from SNU during the interview session and seat limitation, I would have gotten rejected as I wasnt confident in the interview session. The admission process at HITS is simple, you have to register for the HITSEEE exam from their website and its an exam that you can write from your house, the basic eligibilty is 10+2 with atleast 50 percent in maths, physics and chemistry, they also accept TNEA exam students and give direct admission to the NRI students. The cuttoff depends on the course and category and might vary based on reservations as well. The admission experience was pretty straightforward, post the confirmation mail about the rank after writing the HITSEEE exam, there will be a counselling session where we could choose our course and department based on our rank. There is also a management quota for students who wouldnt have performed well in the entrance exam and they are charged more fees than the others....Read More
