My wholesome college experience

The college management is excellent no doubt, with the HODs and other faculties being so educated and wise and at the same time, they understand the need for being friendly with us. How well the management is can be seen with the fact the well organised and arranged big events organised by Amity University.

I opted for Bachelors in commerce the course structure was so well designed, that it focuses on the currents needs and trends in the field of commerce while special attention to the specialisation. My specialisation is in marketing and finance. The distribution of the syllabus is done so systematically that I didn't feel any pressure of the class routine and my other co-curricular activities. Talking about making me more profeesional the college has provided an international course in language French and business communication techniques. Industrial visit was arranged we went to the Britannia factory and VLCC helmet factory where we learned about the work of the sales and marketing executive.

Talking about the placement cell, the department did a decent job in providing the placement. Top companies visited the college with quite a decent package considering the fact that we are the freshers. Tommy Hilfiger, Eubillent Securities, TCS, Lido education and other recognised companies were there. With many job vacancies for us. The department kept in mind the needs of the students and really decent companies were there for the placement. I myself got selected for the Eubillent Securities so overall I can say that the placement opportunities were good. The internship was provided by the Amity Admission dept and I was also an active intern under the admission cell.

The college conducts a big fest for us. "AMICHROMA" every year where there were many events from various departments. The technical festivals of model making and robots were done by the engineering students while the cultural events were carried out by the Arts department of the college and the students of management hold the festivals for it. The Amity youth festival is organised at a big level. Many students from the other universities participate in it. It is a 2-day festival, where the celebration is carried on a massive level. Apart from this Sports festival knows as "Amity Sangathan" is organised every year and the Management day and other important days are also celebrated.

The fee structure is feasible I would not say this is expensive. Firstly the college provides scholarship to the meritorious students apart from this the free structure is so feasible when compared to other colleges. I would definitely say the quality of education which we are getting at this fee is very impressive, with the world-class faculty this is everything that one student can ask for in his college. The laboratories, libraries everything is so up to the mark.

Yes, the college offers scholarship to the meritorious students. I myself am a scholarship student. By maintaining my grades during mid-semester and end semester I'm able to extend my scholarship every semester.

Talking about the campus life apart from the friendly and lively atmosphere which the college has provided, the college has excellent infrastructure, with all the facilities in it. Inbuilt gym courtroom for basketball, tennis. Talking about the ground the field is so big that cricket and a football match can be played together. The college conducts various sports competition for the students, apart from this many intellectual competition were also held, exhibition etc. Debate, extempore Competitions were held from time to time and the workshop was also conducted.

I lived with my Guardians, I was not a hostler but my friends were very satisfied with the hostel and its scheme and food. No electricity cut, every time access to the library, computer room, fun room for them. Living separately from home is very difficult but the facilities and the atmosphere hostel provide is very comforting. The cleanliness and hygiene are properly maintained.

Yes, the alumni meet is very helpful, the pass out students come and interact with us, tell us about their experiences and give us their teachings of Dos and don'ts. About the importance of the placement cell and the courses which we are taught. Overall the experience with the alumni is always so helpful.

I opted for this course because I want to make my career in management. Management has always been such a field where you have the opportunity to show your leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills. Since childhood, I want to pursue my career in such a field. The reason for choosing the college is obviously because of the reviews I read online, and the scholarship which the college has offered me was the greatest attraction. The admission procedure was quite simple: 1. Merit-based admission if the student has obtained good marks in the class 12th. 2. Written exam+ interview for the students who didn't fulfil the merit-based category. The admission process was so smoothly conducted by the institute that I and my parents were very relaxed.

Approx 30 lectures per semester were scheduled and extra classes were given in case if there is need for more. The faculties were so very cooperative with us. They were very literate with the PhDs degree from the recognised university and with good teaching experience. The examples and the case study which they taught us in each class made the lecture more attractive. How they were able to involve the entire class was really amazing. The teachers were there to solve our problems as many times as we ask them and with the same patience level, they were there with us for us.
