Course Curriculum Overview

Mbbs no other words required to explain this nobel profeesion. And when you are a army doctor you are like super hero no one can beat you down as they say army doctor can beat you while naming every bone of yours. isn't it cool. I know right

College Events

Silhouettes, tracking, marathon, cycling and many more .everyday is a festival here you will just love it . When it comes upto counting them I can keep going. It's just like heaven if you like partying and all. Here you get to celebrate with disciplines and joy

Fee Structure and all you can go and check on the brochure as it keep changing every year . And the most important thing I want to clarify which you must be seeking on all over internet that you'll have to pay 1cr rs as a bond money if you drop out from the course

No scholarship is given you just have to score well in neet that's it. however you can go to bank to seek loan

Campus Life

27 girls and rest of them are boys. trust me It's safe to be here .being a army brat I know that being a girl or boy doesn't change the judgement. Army doesn't discriminate the genders .you are you when you are in campus. Have a visit and feel the joy

Hostel Facilities

Yes I live in hostel hostel is mandatory. You can't live outside as it's a rule . and government is supposed to help the future army officers so they offer mess and hostel with every other facilities. it's like your second home

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful. As they are higher in rank we are supposed to respect them and they are always very helpful just like our elder one

Admission

This is the ultimate destination for students who wants to serve indian army. Here we get the opportunity to serve mankind . I have been selected here via neet 2019 I was one of the topper .to be a part this institution you have to clear neet then clear a few test and congratulations you are a afmcite

Faculty

Here we don't have teachers or so called faculty. we have officers. our all profeesors are officers who used to study right here in armed forces medical college pune . that's cool right . All the officers are very cool and supportive they will alway help you in sports and studies

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and always willing to help with academic or research projects.
The campus infrastructure is excellent, featuring modern labs, a well-stocked library, and great sports facilities.
Placement opportunities are robust, with many top-tier companies visiting the campus for recruitment every year.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

College is Good

Likes

Infrastructure is just too good- Building is Fully Air Conditioned
Placement are really decent for a Commerce Graduate around 6-7 Lakhs per annum
Lots of student Associations are there to gain practical exposure.

Dislikes

Very Strict Attendance Policy of 75 Percent.
Rigid and Time Consuming Course Structure
Lot of Fests are there but they do not match the Vibe like North Indian Colleges Fests

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent around 6-7 LPA and almost 50% students get placed and the Highest package is Around 22LPA . Many MNCs visit the college such as McKinsey,Barclays, Goldman Sachs etc. • I am planning to get placed in a MNC.

the curriculum included both theoretical and practical subjects related to computer science ,which matches my interest in technology and career growth . The curriculum provided foundational knowledge ,practical assignments ,and project work that helped in understanding real word application More industry oriented training is suggested the exams were conducted after 6 months every semester some times the results are delayed by university

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

I like the cleanness of the collage and premise
Very good interaction with other peaceful campus
Another thing i like is the infrastructure good campus amenities and learning facilities

Dislikes

The lab management no sitting arrangement many of the water taps not working ect
The office faculty most of them are rude in behaviour
The parking arrangements not well yet and not allowing any of four wheeler inside the campus

I love pharmacy and i love to see me as an pharmacist i like this profession because i like to see the other pharmacists how they work how they wear the lab coat ect thats why i choose this and as soon i get to know that we can also start a business by having a pharmacy license

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

I applied for AIIMS Delhi , JIPMER and Madras medical College and i couldn't get in AIIMS and JIPMER because of inadequate marks but i chose AFMC over MMC because there are good facilities, varoius co curricular activities and job security here in AFMC. To get into AFMC you should pass in NEET UG and apply willing for Afmc in all india counselling. Shortlisted candidates will be called for screening. All About ARMED FORCES MEDICAL COLLEGE

The admission process in Armed Forces Medical College is based on the score of the NEET exam. When the neet results are out AFMC releases cut off. So those who have applied for AFMC are called for counseling on the basis of their cut off. Just after the NEET exam, AFMC releases its application. So AFMC calls all the candidates who are eligible for the counseling and conducts a screening test. The screening test comprises of three steps. The first step is ToELR (Test of English language, Comprehension, and Logical Reasoning) test and PAT (Psychological Assessment Test). After this they put a merit list, those who are qualified for interview. After the interview they conduct medical. And finally, they add all the marks including the neet score and release the final merit list. Those who are qualified are called to join the college. In my opinion, this is the best college ever. You just have to pay 5000/- as admission fee and then later on all your expenses are handled by them. It is a real HEAVEN..!!...Read More
