I chose this course because I wanted to pursue medicine. Faculty: student ratio: 15:150. Postgraduate faculty and army officers. Thrice a year exams were taken. The exam is a little hard, The faculty teaching method is good, Self-directed learning is also there, Small group teaching is their while practicals.

Internships Opportunities

Armed forces, cadets are commissioned in various forces, army, navy, and airforce. There are two options short service commissions, and permanent commissions. Under short service commission - 7 years of service is compulsory.

Placement Experience

After the final year, cadets are commissioned as army officers in various command and military hospitals in India. All the cadets get commissioned and have the same salary of 1 lakh per month. My plans after getting the degree are towards the nation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The only one-time fee is 81000 rs, After that, there are no fees, No hostel fees, No tuition fees. We also get a monthly allowance for our expenditure. During internship cadets are ranked as army officers and their salary is 1 lakh per month.

Campus Life

Annual fest name - silhouettes. In starting of may month, Illuminati Fest - October month, All the books of various medical courses are there. Classes are fully air-conditioned. The college has a sports club, There is a cricket ground, sports ground, basketball court, swimming pool, squash court, hockey ground, volleyball court, badminton court, lawn tennis court, etc

Hostel Facilities

Single seater and double seater rooms are there, curtains provided, bed, mattress, pillows, study table, etc. There is a central cadet mess. It is the best in India for undergraduates. The registration process is in the hostel office. No fees for the hostel.

Admission

The student should clear the neet cut off marks, AFMC posts its cutoff marks on its official website, after that, there is a screening process of 2 days On 1st day medical examination takes place, On 2nd day interview, the PAT test, and English test take place. After this, 145 students were selected for college.

Government is not giving so much attention to students, hostels are not so good and they do not provide water regularly. Management need to be improved, Academic need to be improved.

The only negative thing of our college is we the students of AFMC after our studies we arr bound to serve in the Indian army for atleast seven years other wise we have to pay the money for going outside Rest everything is absolutely good
