Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. The marketing and human resource subject are fully research-driven. We have done many surveys during the period to understand the psyche of consumer and the market . Analyzing Behavior of consumers towards buying varied materials etc. The survey's and market research help me in building confidence, garnering communication skills, making relations in the market. While accounts help me learn profit and loss sheet in practicality.
Placement Experience
The placement was 90%. Maximum students were placed through interviews conducted on college campuses. College called many companies like ICICI bank, HDFC life, Genpact, Nagar, Mahima Group, etc. Each student was enrolled under an industry mentor. My industry mentor was Mr. Rajiv Jain. He is the owner of a jewelry export-import house in Jaipur. I have done my internship under his guidance in his jewelry factory in Sitapura and Janta colony.
College Events
There was not any such event organized during those years maybe because we were the first batch who passed out from Amity University Jaipur. only one yearly fest was organized which was full of fun, dance, and dinner. The college students can also bring there peers or friends from another college in this event on a ticket basis.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is on the higher end. You can say it's expensive as compared to other colleges in Jaipur. My program fee for a two-year course was nearly 6 lac rs. which is to be paid in four installments divided between four semesters. If you want to go for a global exposure tour then you need to pay extra. Yes, college is transparent in providing fee break down.
Fees and Financial Aid
I opted for an education loan from SBI bank through showing confirmation of my admission in the college and entire mark-sheets, other relevant documents, etc. my father becomes the guarantor on the loan. the loan was disbursed in installment as the college demands for fees. I have re-payed my loan after completing MBA and while doing a job.
Campus Life
The campus is situated on the outskirts .far from noise and pollution. Amidst the greenery and scenic beauty of nature with Aravali mountain at two sides. It's a beautiful place. well maintained. The gender ratio was 60:40 during my time in 2006. 60 percent male and the rest females. Students were from various states and places.
Hostel Facilities
No, I have not opted for a hostel facility. But college provides a good hostel facility for both boys and girls. You can opt room on a sharing basis or single sitter depends on your paying capacity and requirement. You don't have any PG's nearby as college is around 20 km. from Jaipur on Delhi Jaipur highway.
Alumni/Alumna
I am not in touch with any of the alumni as we were the first batch to pass out from Jaipur campus. But yes, of course, I am in touch with my classmates.
Admission
I got admitted through a test conducted by Amity university itself followed by an interview. The test is conducted between January to march every year. It will be a computer-based entrance examination. Although Direct Admission is offered to students securing 80%+ aggregate in Class XII (CBSE/ ISC/ State-Boards). Such students are exempted from the selection process. Selection will be only on the basis of the Amity Application Form.
Faculty
The faculties were good, caring, supportive, and helping in nature. Manish Sir and Chavi ma'am were really supportive. Our college also invites guest faculties to enhance our knowledge on various subjects. C-6 use to visit us often and was always eager to hear us and solve the problem if any.
