Remarks

First thing, my elder sister is passout student of LNCT and placed very well. Second thing, it??s the best college in bhopal in field of sports. Another thing which is attractive is it??s discipline, I actually gained knowledge not only in theory but also practically.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I mentioned academically it is best in bhopal due to attendance compulsion the students learn a lot and score good. All courses are good in their own way, you may which ever branch you need you will get enough practical knowledge about it so no worry about that and Faculties are also supportive which is most required during college life

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

I don??t know coz i am 3rd year student so not experienced yet.

College Events

2 major festivals are celebrated here which are of straight 7 days. One is technically celebrated like we have games and workshops based on technical where other colleges students also participate and same in cultural event we organise different-different functions and people from other colleges participate.

Campus Life

Wi-fi is there in college but speed is slow Sports facilities areee bestttt youuu can ever haveee not only in bhopal but among all engineering colleges. I myself have done 4 university national tournaments 3 open nationals and many states. Full support and almost every game is played here and if any game team is not here you can create your own and participate in tournaments

Hostel Facilities

Hostle infrastructure for girls is best literally bestttt rooms are well furnished. Ac rooms are also available foodd is best you can ever get yes, time boundations are there which is necessary. Other than that it is best to live LNCT hostle life for both girls and boys but for boys not enough good.as they are not good keepers

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

PIEMR REVIEW

Likes

Faculty members are very supportive , opportunity for research, internships
Regular placement help in every year nurturing according to the year planning for students
College provides multiple courses subscriptions for free

Dislikes

Small campus no own sports ground for football and cricket we have to share it with other campus
Canteen can be improved the sitting area and new options in menu
Still very few systems of labs are not working like 1/10

Placement Experience:

Our College works very hard for placement like they initiate new programmes every year for the betterment of the batch so that they can improve their placement every year. They have launched launched D 99 batch P 30 batch arrange so many seminars College to corporate training placement, training company visits and everything the placement is our college works very hard for the students to get them placed anyhow with a very good package.

Average college with no placements and exposure

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

My life in Oriental university

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

LNCT college overall best review

I didn't not apply to any other colleges as my jee percentile was low. So, I couldn't get into the colleges like IITs or NITs. But I don't regret joining the college as it has a good placement rate among many private colleges in India and it is also cost affordable for me and most of all I got the course in the college I wanted to do. The admission process starts after you have given jee mains exam. Then you apply for mpdte counselling process on mpdte website and fill all the details and choice of college and course there in the form. Eligibility for the college is that you must be 12th pass from any recognised board mentioned in the form. Cutoffs are mentioned in the collegedunia website so you can see there and overall admission process was good....Read More
