Remarks

Placement Records were my main reason to choose LNCT as I was getting a good opportunity in my home town so I took this college. Other else the study is strict here as like school we are focused to study more.

Course Curriculum Overview

My college is affiliated from the RGPV so i cannot blame my college on the based of curriculum that is decades old, LNCT is trying best to make students mug up all the things whether they understand the concept or not. Faculties are overall good but due the pressure made by the higher authorities the some well qualified faculties are treated less important.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 88000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

We have a great placement opportunity in LNCT therefore it is also known as the best private college of the MP

College Events

2.5

we do have a good great opportunities when it comes to the extra curricular fields, We also got many chances to showcase our talent in inter college competition and My college also organizes big scale event every year, where students can participate in extra curricular activities.

Campus Life

We do have sports facility but we have to manage a lot between classes as we don't have any relaxation in making a choice between sports and attendance, we always have to choose one of them. Maybe my college has jammer or ir is so in outer that signals in my college are almost negligible, we all have some special spots to talk and make a call to someone.

Likes

Faculty members are very supportive , opportunity for research, internships
Regular placement help in every year nurturing according to the year planning for students
College provides multiple courses subscriptions for free

Dislikes

Small campus no own sports ground for football and cricket we have to share it with other campus
Canteen can be improved the sitting area and new options in menu
Still very few systems of labs are not working like 1/10

Placement Experience:

Our College works very hard for placement like they initiate new programmes every year for the betterment of the batch so that they can improve their placement every year. They have launched launched D 99 batch P 30 batch arrange so many seminars College to corporate training placement, training company visits and everything the placement is our college works very hard for the students to get them placed anyhow with a very good package.

Average college with no placements and exposure

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

My life in Oriental university

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

LNCT college overall best review

I didn't not apply to any other colleges as my jee percentile was low. So, I couldn't get into the colleges like IITs or NITs. But I don't regret joining the college as it has a good placement rate among many private colleges in India and it is also cost affordable for me and most of all I got the course in the college I wanted to do. The admission process starts after you have given jee mains exam. Then you apply for mpdte counselling process on mpdte website and fill all the details and choice of college and course there in the form. Eligibility for the college is that you must be 12th pass from any recognised board mentioned in the form. Cutoffs are mentioned in the collegedunia website so you can see there and overall admission process was good....Read More
