Jamia is a good central University and has a good ranking in engineering too. It has some good professors. It is highly affordable. Overall it is a very good govt college with a very large area. It provides good quality education with a very small amount of money. The placements are also pretty good. Almost every student gets placed. Most of the ECE students were placed in service-based companies such as TCS, Wipro etc. When I took admission, Jamia conducted its own engineering entrance examination. But now the process has changed. Jamia started taking admissions on the basis of JEE Mains score.
I opted ECE in Jamia. ECE department was started in the year 1995. All the teachers, professors are pretty good. We have a class size of 70. All the professors are well qualified. The teaching method adopted by teachers is good but a little bit outdated. The curriculum needs to be updated with some latest skills. Exams and Mid-semester exams are conducted twice in a semester. The difficulty level is moderate.
Students of the third year are eligible for internships. Students get an internship in good companies. Two of our batch were selected in Siemens. Siemens offered them 1 lac for 45 days internship. Later they got PPO. Final year students are eligible for placements. There were some huge MNC which generally comes for placement. Companies such as L&T, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Mahindra Comviva, HSBC visited for placements. The highest package of 20 LPA was offered by HSBC. Average package is 4.5 LPA. There was almost every student who was placed.
As already mentioned, It is a government college so It is affordable with fees of 7k per annum. We have some scholarships available like JTA scholarship which can be availed by the students. Fees hike rarely happens. Overall It is a good college with affordable fees.
Jamia will give you lots of exposure. As it is a university, every department hosts its annual fest. In engineering, there are three to four fests conducted in a year. We have Tangelo town, Algorithm by CSI, Encomium by IEEE etc. The library is good and has a good seating facility and lots of books and e-resources available. The classrooms are well air-conditioned. There are lots of extra curricular activities happened in the campus.

Jamia has better ranking
Placements are conducted for final-year students. More than 100companies visit here for placements including some of the top companies. More than 80% of students get placed every year at decent packages. The highest package offered was around 28LPA and avg package is 3.5LPA
The placement opportunities in our college are decent, there are no major companies like Google, Apple, and Amazon coming but yeah TCS, Infosys and other tech companies do come. The average package is around 4.5 lac and the maximum on-campus placement is around 7.5-8 lacs. Although some students from CSE did manage to get placement in Amazon with around 19 lacs package, it was off-campus placement. So you better upgrade yourself while completing your degree as the competition is tough not just in our college but in general.
For 2019-20 placements, The number of offers made was 550+ with a number of recruiters almost 100. Highest CTC was 43.3 LPA and the average CTC was 13.33 LPA. The highest stipend offered was 160k per month and the average stipend offered was 47, 510 per month. The highest CTC was offered by Microsoft IDC and the highest stipend by uber.
The placement scenario is very good and placements are increasing every year. IN 2020 the highest package was 28 lpa by amazon. companies are Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, jpmorghan , Accenture, Yamaha, honda are regular visitors. the average package of CSE is 14-15 lpa and of the entire college including every branch, the average is around 9 lpa. approx 93 % students get placed here, I am also planning to get a good job out of my college.
ADGITM has a good syllabus, and they provide training around the 2nd year too. Which makes it an advantage for the students to apply for various Internships and get the knowledge of industrial work easily. Students become eligible in 4th year for campus placement. Last year, 4 students got a package of 33LPA from Amazon. The average package was around 8LPA. Many students were recruited from Infosys, Samsung, Airtel and many high-level companies. I'll be looking for a job in my final year, and continue my career in a well-reputed company.
Youll be eligible for placement by the seventh semester although internships can be applied from any year. There are so many companies visiting like ZS, Ion, TCS and pretty good offers are made. I think many people are able to get the placements easily and the average placement package is around 4.5-5 LPA.
The placement scenario was good. From the seventh semester, students become eligible for campus placements. around 70-80 percent of students got the placement. There was a rule that if you have one offer in your hand you cannot sit for another company so that everyone will get a chance to grab opportunities. MNCs like Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, PWC came for computer science and IT. I got the degree and I got into collegedunia so I am happy now :)
8th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. About 1% of students get offered a job in a highly reputed company such as Bharat Biotech, Tapan Bio. There is not much placement for undergraduate students and we have to do post-graduation for good salary packages. My immediate plan is to pursue a PhD and later have a profession that combines research and teaching.
As iit delhi comes in the top college and almost everyone knows about it. And it was my luck that i got admission here in mechanical which is too good to happen in anyone's life. This college as said is the best.
Google, Microsoft and many big companies visits here even many government companies visits here to recruit students.
JNU-CEEB entrance exam is mandatory. I acquired an all India rank of 16. One of the top universities of India that grants admission to the top 30 students.
Unfortunately, I don't think internships are offered. However, we are encouraged to apply to various institutes for summer training and many professors gladly help with their recommendations for the same.
