Remarks

U will get lot to learn from JEMS of M.Tech mechanical faculties like Krishna sir good: Compared to other colleges u will get to do more projects to do, Bad: Very poor placement or internships from college.

Entrance Preview

I took GATE.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is good only to understand theoretical subjects we don't apply any knowledge on practicals but in RVCE they make use use theoretical skills practically by giving 2 projects for every semester.

Internships Opportunities

No. in machine design branch only 2 students got internship from college placement department. Including all M.Tech mechanical departments (MMD, PDM, CIM, Tool) out of 90 only around 9 or 10 students got internship from college.

College Events

0.5

One of M.Tech students are involved in any events. we don't get any information before the event. We will get to know only when we hear some noise and we have to visit there. In the conclusion all events are meant for only BE students. if u want any help regarding software's definitely Shanmuga sir will help.

Fees and Financial Aid

GATE students get gate scholarship. For non gate students other colleges give TEQUIP scholarship. But in RVCE u wont get it. They say they will give TEQIP scholarship. This information will be shared during ur 4th sem and at the end no one will get.

Campus Life

4

Extracurricular for M.Tech students. If we want extra labs it is too difficult to get keys or permission to go to the lab or use any equipment to use some equipment for ure project u have to wait, and walk behind the faculty for some days then answer will be no then during ending of ure project period, after lot of request u will get keys.

Alumni/Alumna

"BIG NO" u wont get any alumni network in this college. College wont take any responsibility for that.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is dependent on VTU syllabus. Exams and internals are conducted very strictly and and even corrections and giving marks is very strict. other college students get an everage of 49 for for internals but in RVCE it will be around 45.

Faculty

3

Except some faculties are best but others are waste they have recruited just because they have industrial experience of some years but if someone have industrial experience, he may or may not convey the subjects to students.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Banglore is well-known for its placement opportunities. The college not only has high educational standards but also offers competitive placement packages. Every year, the college retains a 100% placement record, with the highest selection package reaching up to 46 LPA and the median wage package being around 19 LPA, which are very good packages in contrast to many engineering colleges of such stature. Members of the college placement panel are also highly professional and have extensive industrial experience.

The management is good and is always responsive to the student needs. A lot of the things in the college is student run so there is less interaction of ordinary students with the management. Every thing is done through the SAC (Students Activity Committee).
