Excellent MBA program at IIM Sirmaur

The admission process requires a candidate to appear for CAT exam and a valid score to be eligible. IIM Simaur evaluates the 10th and +2 marks with the graduation marks to analyze the student's potential. The GD round and PI round were a little tricky to crack, but I finally got selected for the MBA program in Business Economics. I wanted to join this college because it's closer to my residence and have a knack for Economics.

Economics is a very intriguing subject and it is helping with my future plans. The faculty in IIM Simaur is ethical and guides you in the right direction. Hussain Sir has been a favourite of all as we share the same taste in sports. He has completed his PhD from JNU and is working as an assistant professor in IIM Sirmaur. Term-end exams were held twice a year and were based upon the internal assessments and project submission.

Summer Internships at IIM Simaur was excellent where 60+ companies offered the internship in various disciplines. The highest stipend recorded till now is INR 1.75 Lakh. The summer internship program helped me a lot with the current market requirements. The internship program can be converted into a full-time job offer based on performance.

The Pre-Placement selection starts from 3rd Semester at IIM Simaur and some of the renowned companies like Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, BrowserStack, Aditya Birla participate in the campus interviews every year. Highest CTC has been set at INR 26 LPA and for a Business Analytics Student, maximum CTC was offered of INR 12 LPA by ICICI Prudential.

For each term, I had to deposit 1 lakh to proceed in the next semester. There are scholarship opportunities as well which can be claimed by meritorious and quota category students. IIM Simaur has collaboration with various banks which offer financial assistance to economically backward students.

Campus life at IIM Simaur is great and worth all the money. The institute has an umbrella club for consulting, VIBGYOR, RangManch, Markaizen, and Investment club. We had annual fest and celebrated festivals of all kind. Classroom teaching with digital techniques is fun to learn and innovate. Sports at IIM Simaur is as good as the curricular activities held at the institute.

I had enrolled in TIMES Institute for the preparation of CAT exam and the GD round near my location. The topic for the GD included Current affairs in India and politics. GD round was fine to crack as to keeping the opinion in front of others, whereas PI was tough as the board had really difficult questions involving different scenarios and uncertainties.
