Internships Opportunities

Yes, My college does provide internship but I am not aware of stipend offered. Companies which took students as intern from our company are as following: Tech Mahindra, American Bank, Sigma, Cognizent. Many startup's also offered internship.

Student from various college used to compete in dance show, stunt show, singing show, mimicry show etc. For Management: - Chakravyuh, every department also used to conduct individual event. My department (Dept. of Physics and nanotechnology) used to conduct QUANTA every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expansive. University offers bachelors degree in more then 15 disciplines. Minimum cost a student need to pay is = 1.5 Lac/Annum Maximum cost a student need to pay is = 3.15 Lac/annum. I took admission in July 2012 and for my course B.tech (nano tech ) I needed to pay= 1.5 lac/ annum but student taking admission in July 2013 and July 2014 paid 3.15 Lac/annum. Hostel fee was also high. In my first year it was 68000 rupees/annum for detached bathroom, 75000 rupees/annum for attached bathroom, 1.5 lac for attached bathroom with A.C. in hostel every room occupied was 3 students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni were in touch with us a friend. If we needed help we got. We do not have any alumni Association in university yet. As an individual we/our juniors cold always access our alumnus.

Exam Structure

We had exam coming after every month. During each semester we need to write two Cycle test + One Model test + One surprise test + One Lab test + One Semester Exam. So, it was norther hectic nor completely chilled out. We can it hectic during initial four semester only because we had two labs and 6- 8 course to complete. After fourth semester number of course and lab started deceasing as elective started coming so, it was easy time last two years.

Faculty

3

Faculty of college was a good mix of People from industry, and researchers. We had people teaching us from academics and industry both while professors from SRM research park also taught us few courses. I would say, we had approx: from Industry = 10 %, PhD holders = 60%, Master degree holder = 20 %, PhD pursuer = 10 %. Faculty used to design the test and experiment for us and that used to be quite good problems to solve. We did solve them.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
