IIM Sirmaur is a part of the prestigious IIM Brand. One of the finest in the country, it is a dream institute for many MBA aspirants. Although it is a 3rd Gen IIM, in the long run, it will establish its name at par with the 1st Generation IIMs. Adding further, the quality of education delivered is already at par with the top-class MBA institutes.

There are various opportunities available for an internship at IIM Sirmaur. 100% of the students, who wish to participate in the On-Campus Internship process, get placed in organizations throughout India. The companies offering internships are mostly startups with a few brands.

100% of Students are placed at IIM Sirmaur. The institute provides assistance for both summer and final placements. The highest package offered was INR 28 Lacs and the average was around 10 Lacs. The list of companies participating in the placement process includes startups as well as MNCs offering several types of job roles.

The total fees for the 2-Year Flagship MBA Programme (2020 - 22) are INR 11,85,000 excluding Hostel and Mess Fees which is around INR 6,000 per month. The programme can be easily financed by any national bank. Also, there are multiple waivers available for students belonging to the reserved category.

Campus life is great when you are in the Himalayan IIM. The temporary campus is located at a beautiful location in Paonta Sahib District, Himachal Pradesh. We will be moving to the permanent campus in a Year or Two. The current campus has all amenities such as a gymnasium, mess, separate hostels for boys and girls, a playing ground, etc. The on-campus wifi provides high-speed internet connectivity. Students can choose to be a part of multiple committees and clubs that handle various day to day activities. These clubs and committees offer a large number of learning opportunities through which one is able to shape his or her personality in the best way.

The hostel rooms are based on double occupancy. A single student gets a single bed, study table, chair and wardrobe. The rooms are very spacious with racks on walls which can be used for additional storage. The washrooms are not attached. The quality of the food offered is moderate.

Aspirants have to give the CAT exam and clear the required cutoffs for getting a call. Along with the CAT exam scores, multiple criteria such as Marks in 10th, 12th, Graduation, Work Experience, etc are also considered for shortlisting for WAT/PI. Once you are shortlisted then the WAT/PI process happens on a single day, the information about which is shared in advance. After this, a Merit List is released along with a waiting list which moves until all seats get filled.
