Pros - 100% final placement and summer placement. The location is good. The infrastructure is great. Cons - It is a new IIM. Admission process - It starts with CAT and after that interviews are scheduled. The process is smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am an enthusiast of finance which is why I chose an MBA after engineering. Faculty: student ratio is well enough. The qualification of faculty is above par and there are visiting faculties from IIM A, C, L, I as well. The term is about 3 months in which there are a midterm exam and an end-term.
Internships Opportunities
Several companies visited the campus in the past and will come to campus in the future as well. The internships are 2-3 months long which provides a great experience to the students which are helpful in the long run and in the final placements as well.
Placement Experience
After 3 terms students are eligible for final placements. Many companies visited the campus for final placements. Generally, 97-99% of students get their placements. My plan is to work in an MNC to grow as an investment banker.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees in normally low as an IIM college. The bank can provide financial assistant. The complete fees are funded by the banks situated in the college. There are several scholarships available in the college that are in need of it.
Campus Life
The annual fest is organized by the teams of the college in the month of Feb named sierra. The library is well finished and a wide range of books are available. The sports facility is good. Mostly every sports equipment is available and there are indoor games as well. There are several clubs and committees in the college.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are well furnished and the facilities are good. The quality of the meal is good. The meal is provided four times a day. The registration process is smooth and is done when you join the college.
Interview Experience
There is no GD in the IIM interview process. There is a written ability test followed by the interview. The process was smooth. First, you have to give a written ability test which is for half an hour. After that, you have to wait for your turn for your interview. I took coaching from time institute for my preparations.
