1. College is situated in Chennai, which is an IT Hub. 2. Lot of Opportunities in form of Jobs and Internship. 3. Hostel Culture is prevalent which was required for my College. 4. Strict Discipline and good Placements. 5. Good NIRF Ranking.

Course Curriculum Overview

According to me, the College has all the amenities and facilities to provide the best-in-class education to a Student with good placement. There are some pitfalls with respect to the quality of the education, but a Student can recover those with a good mix of self-study and innovation. The faculties are highly qualified but there is always a rush for the syllabus to complete, so the student's amiss important concepts that they should take care about in the long run.

I have done my Internships at: 1. Scholify (Off-Campus; Stipend: Rs. 5000/3 Months)2. Qxf2 (Off-Campus; Stipend: Rs. 10000/3 Months)3. Major League Hacking (Off-Campus; Stipend: Rs. 125000/3 Months)4. DeepSource (Off-Campus; Stipend: Rs. 20,000 / Working presently)

Placement Experience

Pretty good. Many Service-Based Companies come to College for Jobs and Internships like TCS, Cognizant, Accenture and more. Some Companies like Siemens do come for Placements as well but are very rare. Product Based Companies like Oracle and Amazon do come for Placements.

College Events

Social Life: - Lot of Technical Clubs and Social Clubs to take part in. - Get to participate in Fests in various formats. - People who like to work in Technical Field can take part in Projects and more.There are Clubs like Developer Student Clubs (By Google), Microsoft Campus Club, Rotaract Club, Entrepreneurship Development Cell and more.

College has an official Basketball Team. - Other sports like Football, Volleyball and Cricket are supported. - Library is huge. Plethora of Books including support for GATE/CDS Participants. - Labs are well equipped with modern Softwares and Programs.

Hostel Facilities

- Hostel Room either consisted of 3/4/5 Members.- Internet Facilities are cumbersome. - Meal Quality is above par and are served in amount.- There is only one canteen for Boys. - Playgrounds, Gyms and other recreational activity center are present.- Hostel Discipline is strictly enforced.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

This is the best college overall

I chose this college over others because it has a level of strictness which is good. If a college is not strict, then students will not feel the pressure to work hard.
