Remarks

I had chosen this College because it is the best among other in South Campus. And the good thing about this College is that- studies here is the first priority. There's only one bad aspect that there's no separate classroom fixed for every course people, However it doesn't affect your studies. Admission procedure is also very good and fair if you are eligible and on time. Date of admission will be little bit late due to this pandemic, but hold your patience and get into this. I preferred this College because of the structure, faculty members, teachers, garden and canteen food all is very excellent. Also the societies here are very well doing. My senior from another college recommended for Maitreyi College and I'm really very thankful to her. Lastly I don't think so you need to search about the College's review however if you really have second opinion you can always connect to the students or teacher to know more about it.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Most preferably after 10+2 with commerce every students want to do Bcom there's no any specific reason for it. However as I told earlier the faculty is very good specially Madhu Ma'am. There's approx. 40 -50 students in a section however in combine class it crosses hundred. There's no doubt in qualification of the faculty, every one is well experienced here and even the new joining teachers are excellent. They provide you notes for each and every thing they teach and I guess nothing can be compared with this. Exams and assessments are timely taken and the paper is not very difficult to pass if you study for a couple of hours daily after your classroom learning.

Internships Opportunities

5

Yes Maitreyi College offers on campus internships for students. A lot of companies every year visit for internships. Work from Home is the best part of internships here. There's a lot of projects and tasks on daily basis for students to provide opportunity to grow and experience.

Placement Experience

5

Campus placements is only for 3rd year students however you can go for internship from 1st year. Deloitte, EY, Amazon and many more companies with many offers to eligible candidates. Highest average package is 5LPA and lowest is 3LPA. Almost 80-90% students are placed every year. I'll complete my masters in MBA(HR).

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very pocket friendly and everybody can afford this however there's also free ship and scholarship for the scholars. Placement cell and internship cell is very active in my College. It provides job opportunities to each and every student and approx. 90% are placed every year.

Campus Life

5

There's a lots of fests conducted each year you just need not to count and worry about it. There's a lots of book in library as it is very big. Talking about classroom it is just like other government colleges (non AC). Sports and extracurricular activities have a wide range and scope here like football, hockey, classical dance and music along with western and a lot. There's a lot of pages on Instagram that is managed by DU students you can always connect to them and get your doubts cleared.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being brutally honest I don't think that the course contributes a lot to our preparation for the real world but it teaches us very new things which I like. The course might not be very helpful in our real life preparation or the preparation for the real world but at the same time it enhances our knowledge and teachers as about various new things so I am satisfied with my course and whatever the curriculum includes I like it

In term of relevance I'll say that there are many topics which should not be taught as they are way too old and contradicting in modern times. New tumes problems and solutions should be taught in replace focusing on present.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are generally placed with an average package of 7-8 lakhs for management programs. Companies including the big 4 like EY, KPMG, Deloitte and other reputed companies have visited and many offers have been made. Around 60% of the students get placed in management branch. After getting the degree, I am also planning to appear in the placement opportunities.
