Remarks

Christ is known for its name and the kind of knowledge what we get, which everyone knows about it. We can get any domain of course at Christ. And the best part of the college being in the center of Bangalore. Admission process is smooth and well managed and one thing which Christ is known for is the timeline. They are very strict on that, they will follow the deadlines and timelines being set. Same applies during the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are various courses being provided by them. Vast ranges of courses available which can be taken. Separate criteria for each one of the courses being provided. MBA from Christ is very well known by everyone and the kind of the knowledge what we get is highly valued. Faculties are very good. There are some level improvement required in the faculty but overall the faculties are good.

Placement Experience

They normally starts the placement from 4th trimester end. But main process starts by 5th trimester and by end of the annual year all the students gets placed in some companies. Deloitte, PWC, IBM, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package varies every year depending on the potential of any students it might cross 15 or 20 depending on their capability, but the average package is around 7-8 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for an MBA program is on the high level but that is worth doing it. I guess they increase the fees by 5-10% after every two years. Overall cost studying from Christ is high which is known as studying from any Bangalore college will always be that much costly. No scholarship, but depending on the situation of each individuals you might get some fees wave off.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good and one of the reason for me to take admission was the campus life which is always good to attend. All their campuses are very good, the main campus of Bangalore, kengeri, bannerghatta, lavasa and noida campus. They have all the infrastructure which is actually required is there. But due to Covid I couldn't get that exposure and I missed it a lot.

Interview Experience

There were almost 100 topics what we had received for the GD followed by Micro presentation. Most of the topics were covered like based on various domain they had given the topics like related to politics, education system, international news, environmental news etc. you will be randomly given any one of the topic from these and you need to speak for 2-3 mins. Prepare a pointers for each topics.

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

ISME PGDM REVIEW

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Isme campus life review

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

Great learning exposure

Likes

Infrastructure, facilities , diversity , good for networking and banglore is a corporate hub so it's getting easy for to experience corporate speakers.
Hostel facilities, food facilities for students for those who are living in hostels.
And how they prepare us for the corporate world .and the faculty ratio in 1 :12 over there so small batch size leads to better concentration on students .

Dislikes

Timings of hostels for food and go back to hostel time

Placement Experience:

So in the isme the placements are 100% there are lots of companies visited for mass hiring and the average package is about between the 8lacs and 9lacs from the 5 semester we are eligible for the campus placement

The College placement is decent which is around 8 lakhs as an average and rest is upon the students how they gather knowledge and perform in interview. The percentage of placement of 95%. The companies visited here are KPMG , Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

Overall a good experience

Likes

Faculty is very approachable very helpful
Diversity in culture and small batch size so that everyone gets the opportunity
On campus hostel is very convenient there are 50% girls so it’s save

Dislikes

80% attendance is mandatory very disciplined
Every time you have to wear formals and timing of hostel is very strict

In the isme we all getting the opportunity to interact with companies and in isme we have trimesters so from 5 semesters our placements will start and there are good numbers of companies comes for placements and they offer good amount of packages

An Idea Before you step in about Christ University Central Campus.

Ok so when it comes to BSc Life Sciences as a course I think in Karnataka I guess only 3 educational institutions provide one is Christ University, Mount Carmal College(MCC) and Atria University as of I know . As soon as i got to know I applied and ya I got selected in all three (that was surprising for me too) so I got a chance to choose so I had to do it wisely finacially , reputation , facilites, campus etc I considered so Atria was out of my list even tho it had many plus points just because it was too expansive for me , they charged around 3L per year which was too much when compared MCC and Christ .So now why did I choose Christ over MCC this was simple , Christ is a university and had an option of Honers with research and I also got a schlorship here worth 20,000 and ya they have their way of selection which you can find them on their website and ya it is also clear there so you will not have a problem understanding it....Read More

Christ College Life: A Rollercoaster Full of experience

I chose this college over other law colleges because this provides a good location advantage, and also it has a great reputation, also it provides really good future opportunities. This college also provides better placements than other colleges. Other colleges that were better than this college are national law universities, but I was not able to get admission there because my CLAT rank was not high enough to get admission. I chose Christ university over st josephs and Jain. I recieved confirmed admission from all the 3 places but I chose christ because of its placement records, infrastructure and its campus life. The college is good interms of development of the students as it focuses on the allover development of the students. But when it comes to studies it is very difficult for the students to manage.
