Remarks

Once you are passed nobody cares if you did not get placement. You will struggle like freshers and university does not take care about how to get you placed . The prestige that SRM University possess has no respect by companies once you are out without a job from that University. Also a student who spends so much in study and pass outs from SRM University gets equal pay as like any ordinary college.

Very good and updated curriculum updated according to Industry standard.

Not sure it has tie up with many foreign universities and they give good internship too.

Placement Experience

Placement is not always good generally 50-60 % on an average. TCS, CTS,HCL were the main companies in my batch. 2009 was recession time. Overall it is a good college with a good placement record.

Many events and tech fests. Aarush the annual technical event, Tarana cultural event are few to say.

Yes many consistent good scorers get discount in Academic Course fee as a scholarship.

Hostel was having both Veg and Non Veg Foods. North and South Indian mess were there.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnis are in very good and at many top positions but unfortunately no good network or platform to combine the alumnis. The University had to take some good steps to make get together of the alumnis. This is what I feel is to be improved.

Exam Structure

Very Good and 3-4 internal tests for internal marks let you know to find where you stand and makes you ready for University Exam.

Faculty

Not all senior faculties are very good. HODs and Senior Lecturers are very experienced some are from IIT and other premier institutes.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
