Review of my college-KIT, Tiptur

I haven't applied for any of the colleges as I admitted here through the management quota. In the management quota also the same normal fees will be asked for the students as offered to the students who came through CET counseling. But the fees, which the student, who admitted through CET counseling will get reduced based on their respective state rank. The Admission criteria is that the student who admitting should have at least 75% in PCM subject if he /she is admitting through management quota. The admission process included filling in the details of students in the form which has been issued by the college. And the college fees have been paid in the bank. There is an installment fees structure for management students if, one can't pay the total fees in a single zip.

I chose this course because I am interested in this course. And also there is scope for this course in the outside world. The faculties are well trained and give the best lecture. The student-faculty ratio is equal in our college. The minimum qualification of faculties are M.tech and maximum is P.hd and still many others as required by the post which they are in. There is the best teaching method that is live interactions between the students and lecturers. The PPT presentations are done for more understanding of the topics. The lessons are done through chalk and board and interactions between students. There will be three internals for the sem and will be kept per month. It's very much easy to pass as the minimum passing mark is 35.

There are many companies that offer internship opportunities through our college. The companies include Tech fortune, ABC,Invention. The stipend offered is based on the work the intern did. There are so many projects that are done some are, Mobility Futures, Sustainable Bioeconomy, Digital Technologies, and Societal Change.

Once the student completes the course, he /she will be eligible for campus placements. There are many companies such as TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, TELE TECH, TECH MAHINDRA.etc Recently 5 members have got offer letter in Infosys, India. The highest package is 6 - 12lakhs package per annum and the minimum is 3 lakhs package per annum. Around 85% of students are placed every year. I have planned to get into the job.

The fee structure includes college fees, government fees, library fees, and so on. Including all these, it will cost 85000 for the management quota. There are so many scholarship opportunities that will be awarded by the university as well as from the Karnataka board for UG and PG programme. The one which I am receiving now is vidhyasiri scholarship through the SSP portal. As I am studying in 1st year I didn't have got any job. But I would say that in our college there are 100% placement opportunities. The companies coming to our college include Wipro, Capgemini, TCS, etc.

The campus is filled with full of life. There is a good environment for the students. Many annual fests will be conducted every year. The which is celebrated grandly is Ganesha festival. The sports and games will be conducted during kalpothsava. There are no such clubs but there is an alumni association of our college.
