Entrance Preview

I wrote IIT JEE after my HSC examination. I got 92% in my HSC examination and i got less marks in IIT JEE so i prefer to go for deemed universities and SRM was top in many categories and hence i choosed SRM.

Internships Opportunities

Yes we are provided with many internship offers. Moreover when i enquired about internship on aboard they gave us a lot of details and procedure for those things. Anyways i m a first year student so i do not have much experience about internship .But so i will experience those stuffs.

Placement Experience

Placement is very good in our campus. Many are placed in very good top dream companies .As our students have a great academic and co curricular skills we are very much so that we are able to enroll ourselves in all categories . Companies like hyundai, Honda, tata motors will visit our campus during placements.

College Events

Our college provides us many cultural events for all year students . Also we have many events for department wise also. This make us to enroll ourselves in multidisciplinary fields , where we can able to learn new skills. We do have technical events like AARUUSH which is a national techno fest.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, We do have many scholarship facilities and also they are providing educational loan for students which is a great opportunity for many students and this makes the work of the parents a bit easy also.

Exam Structure

We are provided with many exams and the labs were little hectic but its ok. As we are about to get nice marks and prove ourselves in academic wise its ok. But its not suitable for everyone. And moreover our faculties are proving us enough notes and important questions, we are able to overcome these hectic days.

Admission

I wrote SRM JEE and i thought of getting into counselling but i slightly got missed and my rank went down. So i tried in management quota. We went for admission enquiry before my HSC exam results were announced. I got in interest in robotics and electronics so i choose mechatronics department.

Faculty

Each and every faculty is very talented and having a good experience in their courses and they even talented in other courses also. They make us to easily understood each and every topic. They are providing enough study materials and make us feel free to ask any doubts at any time.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Likes

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

The transportation to the college is slightly hard

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
