Remarks

I took the exam srmjee and took the counseling which was divided into 3 rounds choosing your desired branch based upon your srmjee rank and jee mains rank. And after all 3 rounds of counseling, I opted for electronics and communication engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and Communication engineering is an all-around branch. You can opt for core companies as well as tech-based companies and also opt for IES exam on the future as it supports the ECE branch. My class strength here is 60-65 students per class. Faculties are good and know what they are teaching.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Actually after completing the 4th semester exams the holiday after that can be used for the Internship purpose but if the time is not 1 month (since big companies want at least 1 month interns) then the winter holidays after the 5th sem exams can also be used.

Placement Experience

Many companies visit the campus.The centralized SRM placement process organised at the Kattankulathur campus brings students from the SRM campuses such as Modinagar, Ramapuram and Vadapalani. Top companies are drawn towards SRM IST due to the cosmopolitan composition of the students and the quality of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got 20% scholarship by srmjee exam for the first year.You can also email them for further assistance.After first year also you can apply for many scholarships and the staff is friendly plus student loan is always an option because they charge you for literally everything

Campus Life

Most of the people are here at srm for the cultural life only..lol Library is very vast you can almost find anything in there The extracurricular activities are extraordinary there.You can also join many social groups according to your interest.Music,Gaming and many tournaments are held even for online gaming

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
