Remarks
For being eligible to enter this college, one needs to clear the standard 12th examination and secure a percentage that is determined by the college. The cut-off for this course is usually more than 95%. Since Kirori Mal College is a constituent of Delhi University, the entire process was smooth and a counseling session was organized as well to redress all queries.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course includes subjects of History and Political Science that are useful for students aspiring for government examinations. The classes are a bit overcrowded but the faculty is highly qualified and the mode of interaction is fairly decent. The exams were timely and moderately difficult holistically covering the entire syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
The placement cell is pretty active on social media and quickly provides and sends opportunities for online internships. Every day the details of few internships are shared and the tasks are pretty diverse that require general acumen and are generally suitable for all the courses.
Placement Experience
Generally, the annual placement feat is organized for the graduating students. A number of national and multinational companies visit the campus. Depending upon the course, the probability is calculated. Being an Undergraduate College the amount offered is low compared to other packages. I Am aspiring to appear for UPSC Civil Services Examination in the near future.
Fees and Financial Aid
Being a government college, the annual fees of the college is pretty affordable. However, the cost of living (if you're an outsider) is expensive in general. The college does provide scholarships to economically backward students or students that are facing a financial crisis.
Campus Life
Renaissance is the annual fest of the college that is pretty popular across Delhi University. Usually, the fest is organized in the month of February-March. The library contains a plethora of books across various subjects. The classrooms are normal. To promote sports, various courts and grounds have been constituted. There is a myriad of societies including the Debating Society, Players-The theatre society, The Round Table Society, Enactus-The placement cell, etc.
