Remarks

I had applied for VIT and other colleges in Maharashtra, since the NIRF ranking of VIT was more than any other colleges I decided to join VIT. I didn't have any quota or reservation. The minimum criteria for the program were to have more than 60%in the board exams and a decent rank. The course availability and the category will depend on your rank. The higher the rank higher are the chances of you getting into your desired rank and category. The admission process was smooth, although it took an entire day for the process it depends on your rank. Your slot depends on the rank you got.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I preferred to choose electronics and communication as it had been a field of my choice. The student to faculty ratio would be pretty less as there are a lot of faculties on the campus. Almost every faculty holds a PhD degree. The method of teaching preferred by the teachers is mostly books, slides or pdf. VITEEE is conducted for 4 days. You can choose your slot as per your choice. The exam is for 2 hours consisting of physics, chemistry, mathematics and English. The portion is based on NCERT and anyone who has prepared for JEE mains can perform well as it is a relatively easier test.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

Microsoft, fidelity, adobe, amazon were few companies who came till now. The offered position was that for a software development intern. Stipend offered varied from twenty five thousand to thirty thousand. Projects start from the second semester itself. And mostly every semester there are almost 2 to 4 projects that students have to complete.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester itself. There were more than 100 companies and more than 700 offers were made. Infosys and TCS were the mass recruiters among them. The highest package was 44lpa and the average would be 5-6lpa. All the students who appeared for placements were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees increase per year. Mostly it increases within a range of 10000 rupees. The cost of a study depends on the category you have chosen the course. The higher the category higher is the fees. There are all options for hostel mess and room type. I didn't get any school or any other privileges from the college.

Campus Life

4.5

There are two fests technovit which happens on september and vibrance which hapoens on february. Technovit is a more techinal oriented fest where as vibrance is a more vibrant and cultural oriented fest. Libraries are up to date with all the most recent and important books you need for the course. Sports and extracurricular activities are given as much importance as other academic activities. Football, cricket, basketball, hockey and many more sports are played all over the campus. There are a lot of social clubs and technical clubs easily more than 30. The college does have a website where you can find all the campus related stuff.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The campus does have three hostels. All the facilities are available inside the campus. So there is no need to live in pg. But still, some students prefer pg over hostels. There are a lot of PG houses on rent near the campus and transportation and medical facilities are also available.

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.
