A+ rated college and No1 state university in india

I was a partial dropper at IIIT Bhopal, I left after getting JU because it was a very new college and had no campus of its own. It neither had any proper faculty nor placement coordinator. I didn't avail any quota. For admission in my program in Jadavpur university, general candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks in PCM taken together and 45% for other categories. Candidates must also secure a minimum of 60% in maths in the general category and 45% in maths in all other categories.30% of minimum marks is compulsory for all categories. The admission process is very simple. They will just ask you for the admission letter that they have sent you. None of your original documents will be kept by the college here.

My course had both instrumentation and electronics so I had a chance to go in both instruments as well as electronics departments. Also, software engineering courses are also included in my course. The faculty to student ratio is 6:1. Teachers here are highly qualified and work in different research fields sponsored by Isro, Drdo, and others. Almost all the faculty members are Ph.D. holders. The teaching method of teachers are above average Exams will be taken as per the schedule and passing the exams is not much difficult. But the result is not given in time.

Amazon ,texas instruments,isro ,CAST gives internship. Amazon gives software development parts whereas ISRO or cast gives innovation parts. Isro has come once for chandrayan 2 landing issue to Jadavpur professors and they included students for that. Similarly, CAST does innovation for which they give internships to students.

From the 6th semester, you are eligible for placements. Lots of big companies like Google, Atlassian, Amazon, Microsoft, texas instruments and psu like Gail, Iocl , BPCL, etc. The highest package was 58 lac this year and the average is 11lac. Almost 70% of students got placed. After getting a degree I will go for placement.

Jadavpur University has the best return to investment in the whole of India as just 9600 fees for four years and the average package of JU is around 11lac CTC. There is no hike in fees for years. I didn't get and scholarship as I had an annuals income of more than 2lac and being in the 2nd year I am an intern as a member of CAST. No stipend.

Srijan and Sanskriti are conducted in October and April. There are surplus books in the library. Classrooms are old but equipped with ACs You are free to play any sports on campus. There are student councils and lots of clubs such as coding, photography, mountaineering club, motorsports club, etc.

On the Main campus, it's dually occupied in a single room and the salt lake campus is single occupancy. Pgs are also available nearby at very cheap rates. Hostels are not available for everyone. It's given on the basis of income and distance from home. No, I have not rented any pgs.
