Remarks

BMSCE offers 13 UG and 16 PG courses. It is one of the most preferred destination for students. It has world class infrastructure and high quality education. The placement record says it all. The academic record has been exceptional. More than 200 companies visit the college every year. More than 90% students got placed. It is accredited by NAAC with a highest grade of A++.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is taught by a team of highly qualified and educated faculty. It offers specialization in various fields. Value added programmes are also added such as guest lectures, seminars, conferences, workshops, case based learning, course assignments, industrial visits, etc.

I did my internship with HPE with a stipend of 60000rs. It was for a period of 8 weeks. I got to gain industrial exposure. It was a new experience for me. The highest stipend offered was 1 lac. My all friends got internship.

The highest salary was offered was 12,00,000 p. a and the average was 5,00,000 p. a. Our top recruits are from Dell, Tcs, Infosys, Amazon, and all top tech companies. Almost 85% students got placed. I got job with ITC with a package of 10 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Various scholarships are offered such as SC/ST scholarship, defense scholarship, kadambi trust scholarship, jindal scholarship, brahmin trust scholarship, Huawei scholarship for excellence, etc. Financial assistance is also provided by the college.

Campus Life

The campus has a big and spacious library which offers fully integrated environment. Various sports events are also organized in the campus such as KREEDOTSAV, Tennis tournament, UTSAV, and many more.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel provides accommodation to many students. All the facilities are available. The mess has a modern kitchen and there is separate dining hall for boys and girls. Special menus are introduced on important festivals.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

Entrance examination score is considered to shortlist the students. No other entrance exam is conducted by the college. Students shortlisted are called for the personal interview round. After this final selection is made.

There are a lot of aspects that i really appreciate about the college it's the peaceful professional environment and the quality of teaching,the teachers in this campus are really professional and the methods of teaching are very effective
The infrastructure is at an absolute best with the campus having hostel for both girls and the boys there is a canteen that serves quality and nutritious food for the hostelers and quality sporting amenities where everyone can showcase their talent
Relevance of rigor of the course curriculum to personal and professional development it all depends on the individual on what they would want to pursue besides this campus is a management based school which teaches every management course the best wa

Dislikes personally aren't there because everything that is needed on campus is there

Placement Experience:

The placements and employability of this college is at the top most quality The number of students that do not get placements after the completion of the course is at an all time low Many graduates end up working for a company of choice through campus placements ISME also has a placement team who are excellent at their jobs and have a success rate of getting a job for the students who finish the course at a 98 percent success rate The students who pass out of their respective courses are highly qualified thanks to the effective teachings by the professors in the college

Forever blessed to education

Likes

Roof top cafeteria i loved it and made memories over there
Amphitheatre I loved it and where we rarely do jaming
And our faculty all of them will be kind with us

We have B.com with Acca , BBA , and bca , in all the sem we will be having 2 internals and 1 pre final of Bangalore University and it consists of 80 marks and in internals we have score more than 16 or we have to rewrite the exam util we get more than 16

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Likes

The College Atmosphere, The Students are mostly good and unproblematic.

Dislikes

The teaching staff they're arrogant and unskilled.
Teaching is below the mark for even average as the bar.
Lab facilities are very poor and the condition ia not sterile for experiments

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

ABBS is cut over rest!!

Likes

ABBS means Professionalism and therefore students have to follow the strict uniform code as assigned by our college.
No entry without icard and it has to be around our collar whole we are in college.
Cameras are everywhere and therefore no blind spot and this ensures complete security.

Dislikes

Uniform colour is very poor as it looks like colour of postman uniform.

Placement Experience:

Oracle, Genpact, Amazon and you can name any name which you know in technology and they were at ABBS. Junior software developer roles were the primary roles offered to BCA students and placements worth 4-6 lakhs were offered to us.

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Campus is good and mainly located near Whitefield.
too good supportive professor. Staff are too chill. Some staff are like our bestfriend's.
Lab equipment are good . You are not facing any issue with pc.. it's good

Dislikes

There is only few events in a year. I think only 3 events.
Hostel building is too bad. And hostel food is too bad.
There is no field to play games like cricket, football.

Placement Experience:

After 8 sems we are eligible for placements. TCS ,Dell and many companies visited mvj. Highest package of mvj was 22lakhs per annum. Basically some companies ask CGPA at above 8. My plan is a developer after my engineering in python language or Else I will continue my dad business

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

The campus is quite small so students dont have a place to hang out

A lot of students un my course dont sit for placements as they have backup from a family business , but the small percentage that does gets placed into reputed companies like ey, goldmen sachs , accenture and many more.

Students become eligible for placements 6th semester, a lot of companies visit college including Amazon, Anz , Accenture currently highest package is 46.56 lpa from AWS offered to 3 students placement. Last year placement percentage was 97% average package is 8.97 lpa my plan is to sit for placements
