Teachers were qualified from top colleges of India and abroad. The course curriculum is developed only for the semesters. If one studies hard, then she/he can get good score otherwise it becomes difficult to do that. Also, keep a good image in front of profs.Academic lifestyle can be better and unfortunately due to the pandemic, crowd gathering and fest didn't occur but when it did it was a lot of fun.

Campus Life

5

We have all facilities comparable to top IITs. Labs have all the apparatus, but we rely on LAN rather than Wi-Fi. Classrooms are par for all needs. The library is good with air-conditioners, and they have all books for needs. The hostel is also good, and Sunday food is great. We have good medical facilities in each hostel. Our NIT is the best in sports with all sports grounds and amenities. We have a student activity center for club activities. Our fests are very good, like Innovision, and many fests are also conducted throughout the year. The campus crowd is good, and the campus is large and beautiful.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Large, exclusively student-occupied accommodation, maintained by the university. Residents live in study bedrooms, either alone or sharing with another student. The University, with its beautifully landscaped and carefully tended gardens, provides an ideal environment for a congenial learning experience. Here is a campus that invites students out of their hostels to spend time between classes midst greenery and a riot of floral color. The Institute is fully residential and provides accommodation facilities for all students. The Institute have total 11 hostels which includes 7 boys hostel, 2 girls hostel and 2 married hostel (only for research scholars).

Admission

The National Institutes of Technology, commonly known as NITs are among the top prestigious engineering institutes of the nation. NITs are known for their popularity as a one way destination for engineering aspirants and many wish to study at these institutes to build their future. However, the admission process is a competitive one since the institutes receive lakhs of applicants every year. Admission is purely on the basis of JEE Mains score and All India Rank.

Reviewed on Nov 14, 2024(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a doctor, and MBBS is the first step to become one, so I choose this course. This course makes you a primary care physician, capable of providing basic healthcare services. And being a bachelor's degree, this is a stepping stone for the future endeavours in medico life. Though I feel there's room for improvement in the flexibility of the course, as there's not much to choose what to study. Exams are once in 2-3 months, and are moderately difficult, except the professional exams, for which you have to put your best efforts

Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital - [IMS & SUM Hospital], Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Reviewed on May 13, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
