Great experience with this college

After my CAT result, I was shortlisted for 9 CAP IIMs and IIM Rohtak, IIT Dhanbad, IRMA, BHU. After months of PI, I was shortlisted for admission into IIM Sirmaur THM, IRMA, IIT Dhanbad both core and BA. I belong to the OBC category so had to apply for NCL. There is no age limit as such in MBA people of my class range from 20 to 32 years. Minimum marks to get PI calls was 78 for all IIMs and sectional was 50 to 60, other B-Schools didn't have such fixed cutoffs but were relatively lower. PI for all was conducted mostly through Zoom call.

I choose this course because it is unique and no other top b-school offers this course as far my information. We have 7-8 courses per term so 7 : 52 / term. There are 6 terms in 2 years. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and masters from different IIMs and IITs. Guest lecturers are from Top B-schools like IITs, IIMs, and VP of top Companies worldwide. Mid-term and End term happened pretty quickly, so term1 lasted for 3.5 months, and then 7 days break was given. Exams were open book test , case study based mostly.

Roles offered under intership range from marketing, sales, HR, Operations and analyst. Stipends range from 20000 to 100,000 for seniors as our campus placement hasn't began fully , 27 out of 30 were placed in the senior batch.

From the end of 1st term students become eligible to search and seat for campus placements , Average placement of summers was 25000 and the highest was 100,000 , many companies visited like Hyatt , etc. 100 % placement was recorded.

It costs around 12 lakhs for two years without IIP, yes the fees is on the higher side because it has great infrastructure and labs, all types of sports and many clubs and committees . College informs us about different scholarships, one can also mail about scholarships from NSP. 100% summer placement was recorded last year.

The annual tech fest name is Sierra , and other fests are also conducted like udgam, Anukaran, etc. The library has many books available almost all kinds of books required by students. They also mail course books to our homes since its online. We also have access to the online library.

There are both single and double rooms available, all facilities except AC is present which may soon get installed too, hostel room allotment is done by infrastructure committee and meal quality and menu is taken care by mess comm

Only PI was held through zoom, they asked me about bachelor's since I was a fresher and general MBA questions like why tourism and hospitality, etc. I prepared through youtube channels, online portals and websites, and newspapers.
