Remarks

College is good. sometimes they won't allow anyone to go out from the campus once they entered. please stop this.

Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET exam. I have secured 44k rank and i got the seat in this college. I opted this because i heard that this college provides good placements to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course duration is of 4 years. i am from IT branch. we will have the subjects relate to information technology like c. JAVA ,DBMS. these are the core subjects for us to get the job. my course is closely related to computer science engineering. many people are now choosing IT companies to start their career.i am also one among them. it was a good platform to start the career in IT companies.

Internships Opportunities

yes. many companies visit our college for recruiting students. some companies provide internship opportunities too. the general stipend ranges between 6000 to 25000 per month.

Placement Experience

3.5

100% placement almost and average package is 6.6 lakhs and Abbot India Hero Fincorp, mFino, ACT TV, Highbrow Production Services, National Payments Corporation of India, Amazon, Home First Finance Company, NTT Data Business Solutions Ltd, Avery Denison, Housing.Com, Nucleus Software, BA Continuum India, Hyderabad Industries Ltd.

College Events

5

Every day is an event in life of a student at GNI Hyderabad. You can participate or be a volunteer or be in the organizing committee of an event of your choice. IGNITE: An annual event filled of fun. Freshers: a new name given every year, breaks the ice between the seniors and juniors KHELUTSAV: Inter college sports event. and many more like LIVEWIRE

Fee Structure And Facilities

73k per year for b.tech. Its on an expensive side as compared to the cost that you pay for your course. Also the size of one batch is more than 1,000, which makes it difficult. Take an education loan and experience this with 0-2 years of work experience in corporate. A college worth spending and making the most out of it.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio is equal. You get to connect with a diverse set of people from all around the country. There is a gym that you can make use of in the hostel itself. Sports facilities are good including TT, basketball, squash, Swimming etc. Sports are the real stress busters.

Hostel Facilities

5

On the scale of 10, I would rate hostel food as 9 on 10 when it comes to facilities, it is 7 on 10 It provides with single room accomodation. In order to get attached washroom, 10000 per semester should be paid. Cleaning of room on weekly basis full wifi overall campus which is mostly slow in academics area.

Alumni/Alumna

As i said, you can find an alumni in any company of this world. In case you are looking for a job change, you get a colleague or senior or junior in the prospective company.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is great. It does not totally depend on your written exam to decide your fate. Class participation marks matter a lot along with the non-class participation, group projects and individual projects. You have to go in the class with full readiness each day.

Faculty

4

Faculty in our college was good. they were highly qualified. They mingle with the students. They will always be free to clear our doubts. they teach well. lab in chargers are also good. whenever we go to them for doubts, they would surely spend time with us. they do not hesitate to clear our doubts. they are very friendly with us.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
