Remarks

The admission process was good. First, you have to enter the college there were so many help desks to guide you. You should have all the proper documents for the verification of the admission like aadhar card, 10th mark sheet,12th result character certificate, aadhar card of your parents, caste certificate, provisional certificate with photocopies. Then you can ask any helpdesk for the courses you are eligible for admission they will first check the cut-off and guide you accordingly where you have to go to the specific department for admission. In my admission, I got a booklet of 70rs in which there were two forms at the last of the page which you have to fill and attach your documents to submit to the department of your course. The booklet contains all the information about the college its courses, fee structure, societies magazine everything. After submitting to the department teachers will verify your certificate by 1 pm and generate a link for fee payment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty of the department of chemistry is great. All the teachers are very well experienced and qualified. They all have done Ph.D. and have good practical knowledge. They complete the syllabus in few times give time for revision also take test assignments. The exam is not hard you can easily pass your exam and practicals. Teachers are very helpful except for some. You have to enter labs with a lab coat (mandatory). Good environment but the main problem is the timetable they had designed there is no lunch period ya but you can go after taking permission from the teachers the first-year time table was good but in second it becomes too hectic. Lab timing is also more than enough but it is manageable. Department fest also happens from time to time and you can plan a trip outside Delhi also with the help of teachers. Overall it was good.

Internships Opportunities

2

Redbull and other companies came here for the placements but due to covid in 2020 and 2021 they didn't came and most of the job came is for sales and marketing only for those who are good at speaking and have very well communication skills so I didn't take any internship, one thing most of the people's didn't even know that they provide internship.

Placement Experience

2

There are opportunities for placements there is a separate placement cell in this college for placement but after bsc, you can't expect any placements but yeah placement for commerce students is there, mostly students prepare for the govt. Exams and some go for higher studies so overall placements facilities are not good for everyone, Basically, you can do an internship to improve your cv but for placements, you will get opportunities in the 3rd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is as follows- First-year fee -20970 rs. Second-year -17,970 rs. Third-year - 17570rs. But due to covid, they reduced 6350rs. So final fee =11220rs. But still, the course fee is too high than other colleges like even north campus colleges have less fee kirorimal college has 11000 rs. Fee for the same course. Yes, there is a scholarship for economically backward students which you can apply to at the college's official website. They will refund some amount according to your marks. I didn't get any job due to covid. But you can apply for the job as they gave opportunities.

Campus Life

4

Annual fest name is vibration in which Benny Dayal and jubin nautiyal have come to entertain usually it is conducted in Feb month and all other departments also have their fest in almost every month. Almost all the course-related books are there in the library as Shivaji college has the largest library in Delhi University. The books are issued by the I card for 15 days and a fine of 2rs. For every late day. The environment of library is very good, the staff is good and also they have an air conditioner also and a very big library with different sections. The sports ground is also so big and you can play but there are fewer opportunities in sports due to some politics in the selection process. There are societies in the colleges doing great work like shutterbugs, dictum, NCC is also there.

Other Applied Colleges

Cut was little high

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
