Remarks

The admission process was utterly online. After completing my 12th I had submitted an online application at the portal for Under Graduation Courses of Delhi University. For applying there I was asked for my mark sheet of class 10th and 12th, Photograph, signature, character certificate, and ID. The portal is generally open for a month so u can apply easily. After that du released the cut-off in regular intervals and I got selected for the course I wanted in the 4th cut-off after submitting details in college I confirmed my admission within a day or two. From my side, the admission process is very easy and quick. Anyone can see their percentage for any course on the portal and can also change their course or college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to know more about science and get more theoretical and practical knowledge. This course will give you exposure to all fields, you can learn about physics chemistry and maths in this course. This course also gives many career options such as teaching, research work, etc. I opt for this course to know more about science and make a career with it. The faculty is very qualified and has a great knowledge of their subject. Most of the teachers are supportive and have a helping nature. Most of the teachers had done Ph.D. in their field and all of them had done masters from prestigious universities. Teaching Methods are very modern and good but I think there is a need of doing better because it's not easy for students to get everything online. Practicals are very hard to learn on a video call. So according to me, there is a need to change teaching methods a bit as long as we are having digital learning.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite good. According to my fee is quite reasonable and low for the course and it's not costly at all to study in this institution for any course. There are some scholarships for people who can't afford them, they can submit for to cancel fee and get a scholarship from the college, Some students can also get financial assistance based on their family income There is a working society in college that brings many internships which anyone can access and get a good stipend job.

Campus Life

After this covid period, no fest is organized. The last fest was celebrated in February 2020. In January and February, we have a fest in college or university. Fest of Delhi University is very good and many big celebrities came to perform and it's worth to attend any fest at DU. All kind of books is available in the college library. Anyone can read and get any book whether it's related to their course or not. There are many novels and autobiographies which can be helpful and will give motivation to anyone. Classrooms are fully furnished and have access to smart classes and overall give a good ambiance to study. There are many sports activities in college and the playground is quite big. There are many sports such as hockey, cricket, football badminton, etc available in college, and anyone can participate and get selected. There are many social groups working in college for different things such as dance, drama, fashion, Start-up, Social work, and many more. Anyone can join and work with them.

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
