Remarks

I feel my management can improve of their quality of faculty and whole learning experience even the pcs in the lab are too outdated.

Entrance Preview

I took SRMEEE got a rank of 5059. Well srm is one of the best private enggg colleges in india. so wen i gt a gud rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum was good but i feel it is a little outdated but there has been a change in the structure of the curriculum for my juniors. i feel it is more up to date and useful.

Internships Opportunities

A lots of companies cam and the stiffend was 22k per month(the maximum stiffend). However i didnt apply for placements. So this was stipend given to one of my frnds who had applied.

Placement Experience

3

The placements and job opportunities are the best part of srm because you hav over 100+ companies coming in.but since srm RMP is coming apart from SRM main group the no is expected to go down next year.

College Events

2.5

We have various symposiums conducted by different departments and our own cultural and sport fest conducted by the college for different houses(common for all dept).

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite expensive the exam fees each sem alone ll b around 2000 rs plus book fees ll b around 15 k per year and 1.5 lakhs for counsellling and 2 lakhs for management students every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes we get scholarships the top 5 students of the department recommended by the faculty get rs 3000 r according to their gpas.

Campus Life

1.5

There is no hostel parties and the lab workshops etc reasonbly equipped but strict adherence to dress code is expected only kurties for girls not even jeans is allowed. open neck tees are frowned upon for guys. I would not rate it as an open minded campus.the no of guys is obviously higher since it is an engineering college.

Hostel Facilities

2

I am not staying in hostel but i heard they are quite poor from my peers in hostel the food id reasonable from mess in girls hostel but no good in boys hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

We do have discussions with alumnies coming in once per semester my experience with my seniors is quite gud since i take part in all possible cultural and sports events i get to meet a lot of them there.

Exam Structure

It is the usual structure we have 2 cycle tests and a models before the semester exam every sem. The internals carry 50 marks (10+10) from cycle tests n 20 from models and rest 10 for attendence and assignments.

Faculty

1

I must say i am a little dissapointed with the faculty because i felt they lacked knowledge and they dont keep uptodate with their field knowledge be prepared for self learning.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
