Remarks

Application in the college is through NEET counselling. There is NEET counselling fees which is 10k. Reservation is for OBC, SC, ST categories, PWD,EWS and Some state specific categories like VJ-NT etc. There concessions in fees for reserved categories admitted through state qouta. It is somewhat time taking if you get admission through state qouta cause there is too much crowd ok that day.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are two Terminal exams after that Preliminary Examination for University and then University Profesional Examination, all of these are accompanied by Practical exams. Exams are of moderate difficulty with regular study and practical approach one can pass.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Our college being a Government medical college provides 1 Year Of guaranteed Internship to all the students who pass final year in The allied hospital Sassoon Hospital. It gives the student a varied medical exposure and a lot to learn.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't get any scholarship because there are less scholarships for the students who get admission through all india qouta and there is already recession of fees in Government Medical Colleges for Studies.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many social groups and clubs run by the students. Most important there is an NGO which provides free NEET coaching to the poor students called lift For Upliftment( LFU). There is a research society called Jignyasa. Music Club, Dance Club etc are also there.

Hostel Facilities

4

Rooms ae spacious, in the first year we get 5 people in a room and slowly as you pass through second year and enter third year you get Rooms based on your performance in the final Second year Exams. Food is very healthy and there is a balanced diet followed in the weekly menu. Registration process for hostel is easy and it has 4k per year fees.

The course is standard for all MBBS courses. There are theory lectures and practical classes. Hospital exposure begins in the second year onwards. Current revisions in the course like introduction of logbook etc are unnecessary and time consuming.
