My Experience at IIM Sirmaur or Himalayan IIM

Eligibility - UG in any stream would be good enough, making a good profile is very important in terms of getting an admission to a top-notch B-school in the country. Searching on the internet is fine to grab opportunities. The admission process was smooth I appeared for GD and PI.

I wanted to pursue my MBA from a Tier-01 college, for which I appeared for CAT and a decent percentile helped me to secure my seat in IIM, Sirmaur. The Faculty and student ratio is good. I got opportunities to increase my knowledge with amazing faculties. A trimester pattern is there in my college, 2 years- 6terms

There are multiple internship opportunities are there in our campus. These experiences give one a great experience of corporate culture and make them ready for the future. I did my internship in the role of BDM in an ed-tech firm.

In the 4th and 5th trimesters, students are eligible to be a part of campus placements. ICICI, Deloitte, Cognizant, etc. The highest placement offered was more than the 20LPA with a decent profile. and the average was more than 12LPA.

The ROI is good enough in IIM, Sirmaur. The average placement is always close to the total fee of the course, in some cases higher than that too, depending on the capabilities of the candidate. The fee hike is there but it is manageable.

The annual fest is Sierra. and many other events take place on the campus every year. The library is a good place to spend time with your colleagues. Classrooms are also decent and highly equipped to provide facilities to the students.

The hostel rent was included in the Tuition fees. The meals were good you get various options in every meal. and the best part is that we students are the ones who handle everything at campus ranging from mess to infrastructure.

There was a Written Test and Interview round was there in the admission process. Written Ability Test: As per the CAT admission process, I was asked to appear for a WAT and Personal Interview round. Both of these rounds were designed well to check the candidate's ability. I prepared well for around 1.5 months for these rounds.
