Remarks

Its good as the things are done online unlike earlier when the students along with their parents used to stand in queues all day long. And with the introduction of online admission things have been easier for sure.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to learn about the great writers of English and dig deep into literature . The faculty of the course here do the justice to students as they are well qualified and friendly also the student teacher ratio is good.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

One student of my class , who was given an internship in a startup was earning around 5000 per month . Also I work as an editor to earn 7000 to 10000 a month with various projects most of them I got from placement cell.

Placement Experience

Many big companies have visited our college campus in the past. The college Placement cell organize events like intern 'o Fiera where students are given jobs and internships of their interested field.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is just like any other DU colleges where it lies around 10, 000 per year for English honors , it may vary for other courses . Many scholarships are provided for the meritious students and the placement cell works hard to get students the jobs and internships

Campus Life

The campus is very alive and have better crowd than any south campus college or even some of north campus colleges. The fests are amazing , the campus is green and huge with basketball court , volleyball court , cricket nets and much more.

Other Applied Colleges

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College | Bachelor of Arts (honours) English

Because its amazing

Likes

Personally I like my college's environment. It's so friendly and cooperative.
It's an all girls college so it's so comfortable as it is away from male gaze.
I highly do recommend this college for study and personal growth.

Dislikes

I somewhat dislike it's canteen. The food is not as good as our expectations.
The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah the curriculum here is so strong, it's student friendly and ability enhancement. The courses offer here are relevant and can be applicable in our day to day lives. It gives us insight into ourselves.

A Day at College

Likes

Affordable fee structure that makes higher education accessible to students from different financial backgrounds.
Flexible learning system, allowing students to manage their studies alongside other responsibilities.
Opportunity to pursue a degree from delhi university through open and distance learning.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for regular classroom interaction and face to face engagement with teachers and fellow students.
Students pursuing distance learning may need to rely more on self-study and independent preparation
More regular communication, student support, and interactive academic activities would improve the overall learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Overall best

Likes

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Hostel facilities are really good as it is vibrant and safe and the mess food is really good

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that good, college is a non dusu affiliated

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

Arsd - Star of south campus

I was made to prepare a list of colleges that provided the course that I opted for. So I made a list of all thr college in accordance to my convenience and what I wished to get into. My first priority was obviously a north campus college such as hindu college, kirori mal, hansraj and likewise. Then I proceeded to add the rest of the topmost colleges that came under south campus. I somehow got the chance to give it a try for JMC too as it also provides 50% of its seats to christian minorties but I wasn't really looking forward to get into an all girls college for some reason, so I left it then and there....Read More

A Detailed Review on ARSD College

My CUET Score was 724/800 and I was allotted Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College in the first round. The admission process did not take longer than 15 minutes. I had to take my 10th, 12th Marksheet along with my Aadhar card, Transfer Certificate and CUET Application to the Admin office and that was it. There are many benefits if one belongs the to the reservation category such as more scholarships and schemes, lower cut-off for admission etc. All the information related to application form, fees and dates are provided on your CUET Portal....Read More
