Remarks

Final words to the management would be to reduce the fees to make sure that everyone can afford the university. Also increase the interaction with passed out students specially during placements for assistance.

Entrance Preview

SRMEEE. If you get a rank within 10000, you'll be called for counselling. You can then choose your favorite stream.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum now has become placement oriented thereby preparing the students well in advance for the job interviews. The syllabus also helps the students to prepare for their masters' entrance exams. The choice of electives is also really good.

Internships Opportunities

The placement cell invites a lot of companies for recruitment. Some of them even recruit for internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

On an average over 130 companies visit the campus every Year. Students get a lot of chances to get a job. Companies like TCS,CTS,Infosys and wipro hire in thousands and almost 8000 students get placed in various companies each year. The highest offer is over 45 lakhs in a Japanese firm.

College Events

5

Aarush and Milan are the two most popular events celebrated. Apart from that you could find an event almost every week from different departments. There are technical symposiums by each department once in a year and that gives students exposure to showcase their talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is expensive but worth the money you pay. The fees per year is around 3 lakhs but you can get loan and scholarships and other financial aids. The university is worth the money you pay. You can get back almost entire fees in a single Year if you get placed in the highest paying company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Student loans, differently able scholarship and merit based scholarship are awarded to the students. Student counsellor could help you in this.

Campus Life

5

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only university in tamil nadu where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. Infact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel food is not that great but there are lot of restaurants on the campus. Hostel food would not be liked by north Indians but south Indians might like the food as it contains a lot of rice and other south Indian dishes. There are lot of restaurants outside the campus as well.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are really helpful. They help you in getting referrals for jobs in the future. They help you in preparing for the interviews and the online tests.

Exam Structure

Each semester contains two cycle tests, one model exam and a final exam. Internals add up to 50% of your grade. The semester exam only counts to 50% of your grades so if you work hard throughout the year, you'll get fruitful results. Exams would not torture the students a lot as they can write answers on their own and need not be book worms.

Faculty

4

Faculty is great except few. Most of the teachers are friendly and understand the students. The teachers follow modern teaching and encourage students to bring up innovative ideas. Almost once in two weeks, students would take presentations to improve their speaking skills.

About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
