Remarks

For the BAF you have to pass 12th. On the official website of Wilson college, you get all the information about admission procedures like the application forms, fees, and dates. If anyone belongs to the reserved category they have the benefit of reservation of seats for the course. My admission procedure was better.

I am interested in accounting. Faculty have a good qualifications as well as better experience about a particular subject with friendly nature. They provide quality studies with sufficient notes, material, etc. There was a good relationship between faculty and students. Each year there were two semesters.

I have no idea about placements because I am in the second year. As I have heard from my seniors, the placements are pretty decent compared to other colleges' placements. Our college tries to provide an internship for scholar students. After my degree, I plan to do an MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

First, there was an application form which has to fill up with accurate detailed information and required documents about yourself. This information and documents clarify by the college. After clarification of documents, you get a message regarding fees. After college starts, you have to pay fees. Anyone who faces financial issues can apply for financial assistance for fees. You have the right letter with income proof.

Campus Life

There was a group for all events that happened in the year like the culture committee was given the current information on all events. It became easier to be aware of events. They happened mostly in the month of December. There are different types of books in the library which will give you a good kind of knowledge. There was better ventilation in the classroom. Extracurricular activities/events like introduce yourself, calling, ultimate movie mania, mise en scene, etc. Social group like talk the talk, Be well. All of these events improve students' inner confidence about themselves as well as lots of enjoyment and happiness.

College campus one of most beautiful place it is very big and very beautiful place
Second one is library atmosphere is very silent and very peaceful so much of books are available
Play ground sitting bunch it is a memorable moment we can rest there and wach beautiful campus

Dislikes

In rainy season the college campus full cover on water so the surrounding building always depth on what that is one of the main issue
Second one a dam it is very nearest to college in rain season it is very bad condition
Sometimes the surrounding is very bad that means clearness is very poor

Their is no canteen nearby our college we have to Walk towards the common canteen which is very far
College is at the very end of the college which takes too much of time
Does not give any national holiday and attendance is compulsory

I liked overall environment and the teaching staff.
Teachers are very helpful towards students.
And the campus is too good to be true as it makes us feel more like spending our time there.

Mostly there is no such thing that I specifically dislike.

The course I am learning now is very much related to the real world and it gives me an understandig of the outside market as well as provides me very much knowledgeble things about how the industries work.

Campus - serene and lush green 60 acre campus which lies in the heart of the Pune city.

Placement Experience:

Summer internship starts in September itself and students can convert it into PPO, this is an unique opportunity and summer placements start in the start of the second year itself. Average package for 22-24 batch is 14.32 and highest is 27 lpa.

The staff is friendly and the teachers have great experience
The lab equipments are of great quality and in sufficient number
Library has a good selection of books and the canteen is pretty good too

Dislikes

The campus could've been better and the placement cell is abysmal
There is negligible interaction among seniors
There are no active clubs and the sports are rarely given attention to

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although there are some irrelevant subject like p'ceutical jurisprudence,most of the subjects are relevant and necessary for my field of work. There should have been improved teaching methods and better communication skills by the faculties.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Campus is plastic free and cantine is also good

Ground is small ,football cannot be played and other game also
Not much functional events occur the hall is too short where function occur

In 8th semester student become eligible for campus placement Cipla and sun pharma companies has visited the college every year The average package is 2.5lakhs and highest package is 5 lakhs Percentage of student get placed is 90% My plan after getting degree is to join mba plans

Remarks:

The most positive thing about our college will be the availability of free hostels for all of the students who are getting admission in the college. Also, the hostel provides a great amount of stipend for all of the students.

- I had confirmed admission from St. Xavier's and Sophia's. I applied to Xavier's and Sophia's because of how renowned they were for their course and extra curricular activities - I did not go to Xavier's as I didn't get my preferred subjects. I didn't opt for Sophia's because I thought Wilson would be better. however, I came to regret my decision soon after. - the admission is pretty simple for undergraduate courses. They consider your 12th grade marks and seats are alloted based on merit. There is also a Christian quota with a relatively lower cutoff than general. The admission is done on the basis of marks secured in Class 12th.
