Remarks

To say it, as soon as my 12th boards were over, my college entrance exam was announced. The name of the exam was AEEE which stands for Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination. So based on the individual's rank, he or she will be called for counseling. Depending on the course type and the number of students for the course, the selection process goes on. The cut-off percent depends upon the course and the AEEE rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

A usual 4-year course in chemical engineering. The curriculum was far more than needed for UG. The course chapters were so well designed which means all the courses were lined up for students in such a way that one course's outcome is the other one's introduction. Unlike other courses, chemical engineering is so in demand. I want to make it clear that most colleges do not have this course. Almost 30 plus subjects are included in the full-time course, so 53 students have a sufficient amount of faculties who guide them well. Almost all the faculties are Ph.D. scholars from different colleges and universities in the world. The exams that were conducted by the college were so logical and passing them would be more challenging because the questions are out of books.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Off-campus internships are available and most of the students go for them. IT companies like TCS, CTS, and Wipro show their presence at the time of placement. Core companies like L and T, Yokogawa India Limited, and Chemplast Sanmar come after the IT companies. Sufficient CGPA and no backlogs are enough to sit for the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

4 lakhs per annum which is inclusive of hostels, and mess. The scholarship is provided in a good way to students who are facing financial issues. I didn't get any scholarships from my college. I got placed in Yokogawa India Limited by undergoing college placement criteria.

Campus Life

5

The name of the college fest is called ad ANOKHA. It will be held every year-end. Our college takes pride in showing that they have an international library with many books which are renewed and even modified. People from outside and the students of our college have permission to issue and renew the books. The classrooms are provided with ceiling fans, tube lights, a projector screen, a green board, and a notice board. Every month, the students have the chance to show their talents in sports and many of them have been in sports clubs.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is a gated community with 3 wardens (male). The hostel rooms are more spacious and can accommodate 4 people. Single rooms are also available for the final year students. The food in the college is tasty at times and needs to be adjusted at times. The canteen food is also provided in the college. After one become a student of the college, one has the right to choose whether he will stay as a hosteller or a day scholar. Many PG rooms are available right at our college exit.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Chemical Engineering)

I didn't get the proper rank to enter into the college.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
