Remarks

Jain does provide an entrance exam called JET (Jain entrance test) which I was not aware of so I didn't go through the jet, I took a management seat which cost me 245000 per annum, if you go through JET based on your merit the price may vary.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because am very much interested in building jet engines and designing an aircraft, Jain was the best according to me, well it has a very good faculty and well-experienced teachers I like the method of teaching of the teacher NGL..coming on exams some of the exams were difficult as they used to but it was easy to pass and secure higher spa.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 245000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I've not participated in an internship till now, but Jain does provide internship programs from both external and internal source well internships programs are done every year time get an experience opportunity in their course

Placement Experience

3.5

Well, I don't know much about the placement as being in 2nd year but I hear from the seniors that the placements are good enough to pursue a very good lifestyle Jain has partnerships with a lot of companies. My plan after getting a degree is to get a good job with a good income from it.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I said earlier I went through a management seat, so the fees may vary compared to others, Jain does provide scholarships for sports and literacy, and Jain does provide financial assistance such as liquiloans with 0? interest, with some EMI which is very helpful to students so that they can pay fees in Installments.

Campus Life

The life at the campus is very good and amazing, the infrastructure is mesmerizing love the infrastructure Jain conducts several fests, such as ethnic days and some cultural fests Jain does conduct a tech fest, and Jain has a very good and big library with the availability of all the books including all the streams, Jain gives major preference on sports if you are an athlete and you wanna focus on both your studies and sports then Jain will allow you to do both, there are some Instagram pages of cultural clubs run by students, to make aware of every social activity.

Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
