Central University of Rajasthan, a great experience

Eligibility for the course is graduation with physics as one of the subjects. Nowadays common entrance test is being organised for all the central universities i.e. CUET. You can apply for it and get admission to any central University. Reservation is provided for the categories SC, ST, OBC, EWS etc. Reservation is given in the sports quota and Kashmiri migrants quota.

This integrated course of MSc and BEd is unique, Students can complete their course in 3 years (6 semesters). Students aspiring for teaching jobs may opt for this course. Teacher: Student ratio is healthy with only 30 students in the course. However, the classes of physics for MSc and MSc BEd students are combined which takes the ratio to 1:54. All the faculty members are highly qualified and experts in their fields. It is a great experience to learn from them. Regular exams are conducted to check the progress of the students. Two internals are conducted in one semester.

Internships are provided to the students of B.Ed in different schools at no stipend. It is a compulsory internship, other than this any interested students of other courses can go for an internship in their related organizations.

Students of the last semester become eligible for campus placement. Smaller companies visit for placement on the campus for example Vedantu, TCS etc. Last time TCS organised an exam for the placement and many students got selected, but the majority of the placements are for BTech students.

It is one of the most affordable courses in India. With only 5k academic fees per semester. Scholarships are also given to minority students and economically weaker sections. The hostel and mess fees are also very affordable and it hardly costs 20k for a semester.

Annual fests are not that regular after the pandemic but the cultural clubs have started arranging things back again. The sports department is quite active with all the activities organised on regular basis. The library is well equipped with thousands of books available. Library timings are from 8 am to 12 pm. Students enjoy spending time in the library. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and smart boards but the teachers hardly use them.

The hostel facility is available for all the students, it is quite affordable and all the students prefer to stay in the hostel. The infrastructure of the hostel is good and the rooms are well-lit and airy. Meal quality is below average and is appreciable only on some occasions. The registration process is very simple, the hostel caretaker will help you with all the process and registration.
