Remarks

SRM conducts the SRMJEE exam in 3 phases, to be eligible for the exam you need to clear +2 with a minimum of 65 percent, the exam procedure is quite easy but the support system can be improved considerably, they don't usually answer calls when you are facing any issues, the language barrier does not generally play a role in this procedure. The application form can be found on the SRM site during the months of admission. The exam is a moderate level only and the rank holders getting ranks below 500 are eligible for scholarship programs, it is highly beneficial as it reduces the course fee by up to 1 lakh rupees.

Computer Science is one of the most widely growing educational sectors in today's era, it helps us gain skills on the technical side and provide numerous opportunities, SRM hosts a good CSE environment with various faculties and clubs to support the skillset of students and help them get a good exposure of IT field

The placements in SRM have an average package of 7-8 LPA, the placements here are divided into 3 categories- normal companies, super companies (12-18 LPA), and marquee companies (above 20+ LPA). The highest placement for the 2022 batch was 1.2 Cr in amazon Germany

Fees and Financial Aid

The total Fee structure for 4 years B.Tech program constitutes around 25 lakh including the hostel fee and other accomodations. There are scholarships that you can enroll in between semesters depending on your result in previous semesters.

Campus Life

Campus life at SRM is quite good, it's a ragging-free campus and the culture here is also pleasing. There are many cultural clubs here in which students can take part, sports activities in SRM are more biased for Tamil Nadu students, and the library has adequate space and knowledge available books.

Hostel Facilities

There are around 8-9 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels in SRM. The hostels have A.C. facilities but the price is high. The rooms are okay considering hostels, the mess food is also eatable considering other hostels.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
