Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because I want to explore new things about computer technologies and I want to learn to code so that's why I have chosen this course. The college takes semester-wise exams and between semesters there are four internal assessments also which we have to give online on the website of our university.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 245000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies such as Wipro, Infosys, TATA, Amazon, etc give internship opportunities. Some other companies like skill vertex give students live assignments so that they can learn more new skills at the time of placement exams and job interviews.

Placement Experience

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, TATA, etc. Visited our college and conduct placement exams and interviews. In my course, at least 40% of students got placed in these companies. After getting the degree I would like to apply for jobs interview or would start my startup

Fees and Financial Aid

It's ok and affordable for middle-class family as compared to other universities. Fees play an important role in admission because I've taken this University as the previous University to which I applied is costlier than this.

Campus Life

4.5

Annual fest and tech fest are conducted monthly and various celebrities were invited. In the library, the books are not sufficient for all the students. But yeah it's the best place for study and concentration. There are a lot of fictional and nonfictional books to study.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are good and very neat and clean. The only problem is that there is no attached washroom. The students living in the hostel got a lot of other facilities such as a gym, PlayStation, tv room, pool room, and many more, etc. Also, the quality of food provided in the mess is delicious.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

Registration fees are Rs 1100/- the minimum criteria for the admission process is that you have to secure at least 60% in PCM in class 12th board exams. You can find the application form on the official website of galimatias University.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
