Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty are so caring and the teaching techniques are so different and easy to understand getting pass mark is easy. The time management of the college is good. This course consists of 8 semesters.

Class Size: 1600Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

From my point of view, all biotechnologists who have well worked in all labs are also new bees when they come in search of a new lab to work in. so, doing many internships would give you all the basic qualities we must have in a lab and basic ideas of the lab equipment and principles of every experiment can be understood practically. But internship program was not been held before.

Placement Experience

Many students got placed in big companies with good salary packages. students are placed in well-reputed core and noncore companies like Syngene international, Saksin Life science, Zifo Tech, Think and learn, Omics International ltd, Wrig Nanosystem, MSP lab, Getmyuni, Icon Research, Infosys, GRE Edge, Extramarks, Zomato have recruited our students in their company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees for this course are about 250000.SRM Institute of Science and Technology awards various scholarships and fee waivers to meritorious students. SRM IST scholarship is subject to consistent high performance as per the norms set by the university from time to time. Getting to campus is a bit easy when u study at this college.

Campus Life

There are a lot of festivals that will be celebrated on campus. The faculty for sports are good. A lot of extracurricular activities are there apart from the studies the sports activities are given much more importance.

Admission

There is no entrance exam for this course in this college. Eligibility for this course is 50% in 10th and 12th. There are no reservation benefits in this college. you can directly approach the college and get the application form.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
