Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the THDC IHET: it's a government college and the fee structure is low as per the facilities. There are 5 branches and they 60-70 students in every branch. Faculty Qualification: Btech, Mtech, MCA, PHD Term exams are conducted every 5 months.
Internships Opportunities
HCL: I tried off-campus and got selected at HCL as a Software developer. There was no stipend as I was working as an intern Developed a Cargo Tracker, the task was to track Ship cargos overseas
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placement after completing their 6 semesters with 0 back logs. Coloured cow for C.S branch. The highest package is INR 800000 and Destination was a junior software analyst. The minimum% required for campus placement required is 60%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is the same throughout the course. College fees: 31000/per semester and Hostel fees 30000/Semester Students get the opportunity to work with THDC for completing their internship and the Minimum stipend is INR 20000.
Campus Life
Annual Fest: Lamhe & we have tech fest Roorkee Core. UTU have its own library, student can borrow books from the library. College conduct their sports activities every semester They had football competition as" Bleed for Football" Social Group: The core team, THe spartans
Hostel Facilities
Wifi facility, Television, Food Mess, Common hall with Gym and Table tennis table. Meal quality is pretty bad, uncooked food is generally served. The hostel is allotted on the basis of Percentage and Rank. I rented an apartment after my 3rd year, The room is equipped with basic gadgets and monthly rent for 2BHK is affordable.
Admission
Required min 60% in 12th. AIR rank should be Below 2lakh. Application form: Online(counselling) Application fees are Nil Application are filled in August There should be an online portal for fee submission, as the college is at the top of the mountain and students have to go way down to 3KMs to submit the fees.
