Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BALLB because I was very interested in pursuing law as a career. And here at the Faculty of Law, the University of Lucknow, the faculty available is in a very good ratio. We have at least 3 faculties for one subject who are allotted, different classes. You can go ahead at sit in other sections if you don't feel your own faculty is not a good fit for you. Most of the teachers are well qualified and experienced but after COVID, we have had some issues with the experience part of it. But lately, things have gotten back on track. Mostly because the students are keen on it. Exams have been a little late after COVID and there is a lack of good management. Timely exams are an issue but the difficulty is average.
Fees and Financial Aid
One semester costs 25580. The fees are minimal considering other similar private institutions and their reputations. You can apply for UP government scholarship and there is also an opportunity for students to work in in-Campus ADR cells and other such cells where students can gain experience and also earn some money.
Campus Life
The campus is doing really well when it comes to social life. There are a number of events and the culture is also healthy and the crowd is varied. You won't be bored I'd you chose to attend college.
Admission
The process in my year was simple enough. We hat to sit for an entrance exam which was of average difficulty. Unfortunately, now the competition is much harder and it is tougher to get in even when the number of seats has been doubled. All in all, if you have prepared properly for CLAT and AILET, LU entrance is not that hard, granted that you are not unfortunate enough to get merit based admissions that session.
