What Students Say

Likes

There are lots of opportunities and competition.
We can get a good recognition from our work.
The college is not so strict in students personal life unlike some other private colleges.

Dislikes

Mess food could be better. Some days, the food is below expected.
Hostel is little far from college. It would be better if it was nearer.
Some of the faculties are difficult to understand.

Course Curriculum Overview

My passion is to become a software engineer so I choose this course(Computer Science and Engineering). There are thousands of faculties and ratio of faculty: to students is around 1:40.Faculties are well qualified but, yes some of them are a bit hard to understand. I am not sure if the subject matter is difficult or the faculty is lacking.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are provided from the second year onward. Many internships regarding cloud computing, data analytics, software development, robotics, etc are conducted from time to time and it increases our productivity and team working skills.

Placement Experience

There are lots of opportunities in SRM. Actually, we are given choice in 3rd year whether we want to sit for placement or go for foreign studies. I prefer foreign studies but looking at the numbers it is tempting to sit for the placement. More than 90% of students are placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are lots of scholarship opportunities at SRM. I myself, myself am a scholarship holder. If you get a scholarship then it is easier to pay fees and it becomes more affordable but without a scholarship, I think the return on investment is a bit lower.

Campus Life

Many fests like MILAN, AARUSH, festivals eve, etc happens from time to time for our refreshment. The library is on 2 floors and it has almost all the required syllabus books and also some magazines and knowledgeable books. Sports are also organized from time to time. Last month we had an inter-hostel competition where we had most of the indoor and outdoor games. Clubs and societies are in hundreds of numbers. And one can join these clubs on their own interests and skills.

Admission

Admission was an easy and not-so-long process. I didn't have to wait in queue for a longer time. Staffs were supportive and were clarifying all the details perfectly. They were kind and talked in a respectful manner.

Other Applied Colleges

C. V. Raman Global University | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every. One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

A Good College Experience with Opportunities for Learning and Growth

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
