Course Curriculum Overview

3

Information Technology was very similar to cse so I picked it. the classrooms are either way it is very hard to get the course and faculty that you pick and be careful of blacklisted faculties. The faculties basically teach from ppts they read it out and leave after taking attendance. Every other month exams happen no preparation time would be given for exams they happen parallelly.75 % minimum attendance is mandatory for writing exams. Getting medical leave will also be counted as absent.

Internships Opportunities

3

Jp morgan, cisco, motorq, bmc, adobe. there are a lot of companies which come to hire for summer internships as well as full-time jobs. The stipend for an internship is also not low it is as high as 1.5 lakhs per month and a lot of companies offer around 60k or more per month but they mostly hire cse students. For the projects, you will be doing a lot of them just make sure you understand what you are doing. Software developer, full stack developer, backend/front end, AI/ML engineering etc were offered other branches get comparatively fewer offers

Fees and Financial Aid

Too expensive and they ask to pay it entirely at once, scholarships vit would not offer anything. You have to get a scholarship from outside. If you are the highest ranked I heard you get 14k as an allowance. Fees are not increased between academic years but they are for every new batch. Hotels are also expensive, and you can get a student loan and foods average so you have to go out and buy food frequently.

Campus Life

3.5

The classrooms are non-ac and there are a lot of clubs every day there is some event going on, the sports amenities are paid and some are free but they will be crowded and it's hard to relax and enjoy. It's a regular process to join you have to register at the start of each year, not the semester. The library has lots of books and you can get them for 14 days and extend them later if you go late for a return you will have to pay lots of fees and its fine for 1 week it would be around 100 rupees so no overdue, 2nd internals are open book exams then the library is crowded. Rivera gravitas is the biggest event and all the events there require you to pay for them.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostels are in short not maintained properly but any complaint you write in complaint book will be fixed as soon as possible within 2 or 3 days. The bathrooms are not perfectly clean but are kind of acceptable and they are common not attached. The men's hostels are kind of far from academic blocks but girls most of them are close there are rooms outisde vit too but expensive. Food is straight up bad if you are a foodie but its edible and its hygienic atleast. The food could be eaten without any issues but you provably would spend more on canteen and outside food

Admission

Generally, we need to take the VITEEE exam but my batch was admitted based on the jee mains percentile and board percentage, any other notable things, I had no reservations got a rank around 5000 and was eligible for cse category 1 in round 2 of counselling. But the process was confusing so I ended up in Information Technology category 1. All information will be available on their official website

About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.
