Remarks

College management is good. But they need to improve on infrastructure and also on the placements.

Entrance Preview

CET This was a nice college. All the staffs were good and also it was near to my home and hence opted this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

College has good staffs who Help us in all the circumstances. I took computer science Branch in this colleges, all the staffs were well experienced and well trained and hence the course went on smoothly and learnt new things. It was a good experience to get trained under them and also when working practically on the assignments.

Internships Opportunities

No. When I was a part of the college. There was no concept of internship. There was no internship from the college side but we ourselves tried outside to get internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

I joined this college in 2009 and passed out in 2013. Placements in this College was not that good. None of the companies visited this college for placements. But they used to take us to different colleges like SJBIT and other colleges for off campus placements. Off campus placements are there but in campus placements are not there in this college

College Events

4.5

We conducted so many event's in my college tenure. I was part of organizer group. All the events like college fest and gaming fest and other events went very smoothly and nicely. Students from other colleges also participated and they enjoyed. College fest was a very nice experience where we performed ramp walk and dance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure in the College is feasible if you are joining in government seat. If you are joining this college in management quota then the fee structure is little expensive. Normally the facility provided and the infrastructure the fee structure when I joined was okay. Not too feasible or too expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of my knowledge there were no such facility. One of my Friend was getting scholarship but he was getting based on his caste. So the scholarship and the loan facility may be based on the caste. I have not availed and hence no idea on this aspect.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus was good. There were so many students from different part of India. And we got a very good chance to mingle with them and to know about their culture. Labs were good and sports was also very good. I was part of College cricket team and hence when it comes to sports this College was supportive in other aspects apart from studies.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There was no hostel facility in this college.. All the students were staying in a PG or in a shared room. Since there was no College hostel facilities and the mess food I cannot provide the ratings on the hostel and the mess food.. But the canteen food in this college was okay.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors in this college were good. They were helpful in all the aspects. I had a very good network with seniors in this college. And also they used to help in all the aspects like studies, games, organizing fest and other stuffs.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is same as that of all VTU related engineering colleges. There will be internals and external exams for every semester. We have to write 3 internals and Marks will be considered based on the average of two. And it will be added to the external exam. Structure was simple since it comes under VTU.

Admission

I.got government seat in this college based on my CET ranking. I took this college in the first round of my CET processing. Based on the ranking the CET cell will provide us the date. And I went to CET cell on that particular day and selected this college.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties in this college are very professional and motivating, especially in computer science branch. They were well trained and well experienced faculties. So it was good experience to learn under them and got a very good knowledge on courses. They were not only supported in learning, they supported in the other aspects like games.

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.
